Alabárdos Étterem

Teljesen véletlen jöttünk ide vacsorára, mivel máshol nem kaptunk helyet, nem volt előfoglalásunk. Szerencsénk volt mert a legjobb helyre jöttünk. Kiszolgàlástól kezdve az ételekig minden nagyon rendben volt. A főétel különösen finom volt, igényesen tálalva, szuper ízek.

Nagyon finom és különleges ételeket ettünk. Tökéletes és nagyon udvarias kiszolgálással. Azoknak ajánlom akik szeretik az újdonságokat és a különféle alapanyagok kombinációját. Én gyömbéres répa krém levest mentával és kesudióval ettem. Fantasztikus volt! Utána Kacsa mellet és májat. Szintén csodálatosan finom volt.

Sok helyet próbáltam már Szegeden, de ez magasan vezeti a listát. Fantasztikus tányérok prémium alapanyagból, gyönyörű környezetben. Az árak persze a szinvonalhoz mértek,de garantált a "szerelembe esés". Köszönöm az élményt, jövünk még gyakran!

Udvarias kiszolgálás, ízletes, jó minőségű ételek. Az alapanyagok frissek voltak, tálalás is nagyon szép volt, maximálisan elégedettek voltunk.

It’s an amazing restaurant in the centre of the city of Szeged. It’s having a good atmosphere with a friendly staff. The restaurant has an executive Chef called Tóth Pál who has a lot of experience and practice in the profession, he serves dishes in an artistic manner, he combines traditional dishes with a bit of modernity, for this he is so well-known in Hungary. When I go here I feel that I am at home. I truly recommend this restaurant for everyone. Alabárdos is a restaurant that you should visit if you come to Hungary or Szeged. ❤️❤️❤️

They have a very carefully and inspiringly chosen selection of wines, champagne etc. The wine suggestions were very good, the food is excellent, we had a very good apricot soup that was not compote, duck breast and dessert (no complaints). As elaborate and innovative as the food is, the price of about 40 euros per person (with two glasses of wine) is extremely decent, for me this is one of the best restaurants I have eaten in Hungary

We came here in a big family group of 6 and were attended to very thoughtfully by the waiter. Our waiter spoke to my partner in Spanish as he didn’t speak Hungarian, which was a very polite touch. The food was on the expensive side for Szeged, but the portions were big enough, and the food itself was both unique and delicious. We particularly liked the amuse-bouche, which was very different. They had a couple of good vegetarian and vegan options, which was also very appreciated. The whole setting and decor was very elevated, and we really enjoyed our meal. We will be back!

Someone in the kitchen knows how to cook! My pork tenderloin was subtly flavoursome and... well... exquisitely TENDER! The cottage cheese dumplings for dessert were delicately flavoured and only just as sweet as they needed to be. Tiny amuse-gueules (before) and friandises (after) added a classy touch. Short, but effective, wine list. Admittedly expensive (very) by local standards, but this is good cooking by any non-local) standards. Recommended.

It is obvious that the chef has decided to achieve Michelin stars. They will achieve. The staff is highly professional. The interieur is a little bit puritane for me, but it is nice and clear.

We celebrated our anniversary with my girlfriend. Both the appearance of the place and the service are very positive. The steak and seasonal dessert with plums were also fantastic. Thank you for this “experience” ;)

And our expectations were fulfilled by the place: by the food, the service, and the atmosphere. The chef's daily offer was part of a real fine dining. Prior to this case we have already tasted several dishes from the menu which where also of the highest quality. The staff and the service are kind.

When you think that you know all taste combinations, every fruit-vegetable-meat-side dish pairing, you'll be surprised when you visit Alabárdos in Szeged. Brand new meals await, with soothing, calm atmospehere both indoors and on the terrace. You shouldn't miss the opportunity to taste something brand new here. The service is excellent, the music is not too loud. It's not the cheapest place around, but you will definitely get the quality you come for!

In my opinion Alabárdos is offering the most premium culinary experience one can enjoy in Szeged. The restaurant has gone through a complete transformation recently, thanks to which it can enter the segment of the most quality gastro mekkas in the city. The dishes are not only enchantingly beautyful, but creatively composed, not to mention the amazing, complex tastes and textures that will surely make each dish an unforgettable experience. The service is kind, professional and attentive. And the prices are fair - basically they match up with the level of the other proper restaurants in the neighbourhood, however in terms of quality, Alabardos greatly exceeds all of them. I know I might sound a bit over the top, but the place deserves the most excellent review for sure! I can't wait to revisit :)
