Messze felülmúlta a hely a várakozásainkat! Nagyon kedves kiszolgálás, minden elképesztően finom is volt. Volt élőzene is aznap, amikor ott ettünk, de egyáltalán nem volt zavaró, halk, visszafogott dalokat halhattunk.

Uuu... hát nem is tudom hol kezdjem. Talán ott, hogy COVID van, névnapomat ünnepeltem volna, csomó helyet néztem , de mind vagy zárva, vagy szűkített étlap. Ez van, 2020 ilyen. Régi vágyam volt a Barack & Szilva, de zárva , viszont a testvére Alma & Körte nyitva. Poros emlékeimből látásból megvolt, így zsigerileg rá esett a választás. Egyáltalán nem bántam meg... sőt ... Gyönyörű étlap , a kiszolgálás fantasztikus. Külön tetszett benne, hogy emberbarát, empatikus, érdeklődőek, nyitottak és őszínték a vendégekkel. Szóval látszik, hogy szeretik a munkájukat és a helyet ahol vannak. Jópár fogást végigkóstoltunk, egytől egyig hibátlanok. Bőséges, ízletes adagok. A környezet nyugodt , patinás ( Palotanegyed ), nem egymás ‘szájában ‘ ülnek a vendégek. Sok, sőt rengeteg helyen jártam már, de ide szívesen visszajárnék ( remélhetőleg fogok is ) . Köszönök mindent!

Másodszor voltunk már itt és isteni volt minden. Nagyon finomak voltak az ételek és Gergő ajánlásával szuper borokat is kaptunk a vacsorához, mindenki a maga fogásához. Jövünk ujra nem sokára!

Az étterem ízléses, kényelmesek a székek, tiszta a mellékhelyiség. Kedvesek a pincérek, profik, értik a dolgukat. Az ételek gyorsan elkészültek és kifogástalanok voltak. A halászlé a legfinomabb amit valaha ettem, a somlói tálalása nagyon kreatív, és a tejmentes fogások között is válogathattunk. A boraik finomak.

Really nice restaurant with set menus of traditional Hungarian food, plus al la carte. We had the set meal with wine at about Eur 41, which was a very good choice. Trout fillet with salad and Sauvignon Blanc. Next a wholesome bowl of Goulash, followed by beef and pork on a skewer with roasted vegetables, accompanied by a Pinot Noir. I am not one for sweet wines, but really enjoyed the desert wine with the finale. Certainly recommend this restaurant.

The staff were very nice even though they seemed unsure about offering a table for reservation then sat us next to the kitchen even though free tables. We moved tables the starters were very tasty, the fennel and goats cheese salad and the duck liver pate. Main of lamb shank was very nice as was the beef and pork brochette. A nice bottle of local red wine and a nice atmosphere. Would recommend.

My wife and I visited the restaurant on our first night of our honeymoon, chosen due to trip adviser reviews. The food and staff lived up to the great reviews. The food was excellent, venison stew was gorgeous. The staff very friendly recommending a lovely bottle of red. We would highly recommend dining here.

We were staying at the hotel across the road and thought we would try this restaurant. It has a very cool vibe interior, modern decor. The food is mainly Hungarian and they have a good menu. We tried one of the tasting menus (4 courses) and the quality was very good. Prices were reasonable. Service was also excellent. Highly recommend you try this restaurant if you’re in the area.

Stayed in the Hotel Palazzo Zichy and popped in here two nights for a few drinks. Reasonably priced, nice atmosphere, definitely recommend.

Wonderful local restaurant nestled in small square next to church. Great local food and wine at reasonable non tourist prices. Leg of rabbit was superb as was the goulash. Guitarist a nice touch.

We so enjoyed a lovely meal here, shared a duck pate starter, venison goulash and a beef/pork skewer followed by a traditional cake dish similar to tiramisu, excellent hungarian red wine which is so affordable and very friendly unobtrusive service. It was just perfect, thank you so much and we enjoyed the guitarist in the background and decor. I would definitely return if in Budapest as the quality and seasoning of the food was superb.

Stylish atmosphere. Absolutely excellent service. Beautifully presented dishes. But unfortunately not so delicious. Hungary's classic Paprika chicken was too salty. The roasted duck leg was good but nothing special at all. The venison stew was mediocre. We tried also the Cottage cheese dumplings - look great, but ...Accessible. Card accepted. There's a 10% service fee added to the check. 3 mains, dessert, a beer, a glass of wine and lemonade - less than 60 Euros.

I love this little restaurant. The atmosphere, the amazing modern Hungarian food. Plenty of healthy options sometimes hard to find in Budapest. Lovely waiters and great service. I ate here a few times while travelling alone for work. As a sole female diner I was given a lovely window table. Looking out to the historic square while live music wafts through the restaurant was an absolute delight. I will definitely return.

Me and my partner were staying at the Palazzo Zichy hotel which is situated 5 meters from Alma & Körte in a peaceful little square overlooked by the beautiful Jézus Szíve church. The food was top quality - I had the goats cheese and fennel salad to start, goulash, and duck for main. My partner had duck pate to start, goulash, and stuffed chicken wrapped in bacon for main. We also shared a local desert on the recommendation of the very helpful waiter. We opted for wine with our meal and chose the Pinot Gris which was so nice we had to order a second. I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough - the food is great, the service is outstanding and the setting is beautiful and peaceful. We enjoyed our meal so much that we visited the restaurant for a second time during our time in Budapest - something which we don’t normally do whilst travelling.

Very superb restaurant. Food is excellent and service is outstanding. I cannot understanf why this restaurant is not in white guide. We went to one of the michelin star restaurants a couple of dags after and the 4 course menu with wine was NOT far behind
