This is the place where i tried my first Korean food and i loved it. The service and staff was cool and nice.

This place is a bit out of the way, but easy enough on the bus. The inside is quite nice, fairly authentic feeling setting. The service was not very attentive but we didn’t have to wait too long. Our biggest issue was the menu which is so confusing. It’s very unclear what should be starter and what should be main and there were lots of extra pages stuck inside.
Service included the usual kimchi but also the very unusual pasta salad from mayonnaise. They gave us more kimchi when we asked for it which was nice. Service also included fluffy egg which was a nice surprise.
Mains were pretty good, not bad portions and decent quality. Maybe a little bit on the expensive side, but fine compared with other Korean places in Budapest.

I don't have much experience with Korean food, so this review is just about the experience in general.
The food was average. Some of the sides were good and some were not. The pork was plain pork, the beef had some marinade. Only Dreher beer, so we had red wine, which was pretty good, but very expensive (11.000huf). It was fun, at first, to cook our meat on the grill, but it quickly became work.

Probably the "best" korean restaurant in Budapest. Taste almost authentic. Me and my buddy actually went 3 times. However, on the 3rd try, the bibimbap wasn't cook well, was a disappointment. Nonetheless, i can safely say this is probably one of the best korean restaurant in town. Although consistent quality can be a suspect sometimes. Would probably go again just to give it another try :)

We went here with a large group for Korean BBQ and while this restaurant is more pricey it was great quality food, authentic tasting (the side dishes are just how they are like in Korea), and the waiters were very patient with our large group which we really appreciated. Unfortunately they are not allowed to use the built in table grills anymore so we had separate grills but other than this we enjoyed the authentic experience very much and would go here again gladly!

Rich varieaty of traditional Korean meals and drinks - you can try even the soju. The Korean barbecue is really worth to try.

Authentic Korean restaurant with vegetarian/vegan possibilities (you need to tell the waiters to change the dish for you, e.g. dolsot bibimbap with no eggs and no meat). Very tasty but very expensive. A selection of starters (kimchi, fermented raddish, some tiny fishes) are included in the price. The owner doesn't speak any English (or Hungarian) so it was hard to communicate with him, but the Hungarian waiters are professional and easy to speak to.

It's on the pricier side and out of the way but it hit the spot for me. I was craving some kalbi jjim and the menu has a lot of options. The owner is friendly and the decor is old school Korean. I would go back.

We went here last weekend to sample and try Korean food. We have had Korean BBQ before so thought that this would be the same. No, its not.
The place itself i think is an old German restaurant as it still has the German beer stained glass windows and the Bavarian beer hall decor and feel.
Were the only Westerners in the place and it quickly filled up with Korean folks, which i suppose is a testament to how good the food is if the local Korean population go there.
There were numerous side starters which were very good and gave you a good appetite for what to order.
We ordered the spicy beef soup and the miso soup which was fine. The egg soup was tasteless and we had to add some salt to it to get some taste into it.
We had the spicy seafood and the spicy pork which were pretty good, especially the seafood, was the better of the two. Both came with white rice. My daughter had the glazed chicken which she enjoyed.
All the food was a little bit too sweet for me. Dont know if they cook or drizzle a lot of honey on the food, but they were all, except the soup, sweet tasting....
Would go back here to try something else, hoping that it would not be as sweet the next time.
the staff were good and quick and were able to meet our needs.

There are a few Korean restaurants is Budapest but most of them are mediocre at their best. This place is run by Korean people and its core clientele is also Korean. It's funny that you can sit in this place by yourself only and suddenly a bus-load of Koreans storm the venue.
The place serves authentic Korean food, the tastes are not different than what I've had in Asia so I'd give the place an A+ for this. The prices are a little bit high but the portions are decent.
The place is out of the city up on the Buda hills which is a little bit uncomfortable if you have no car or don't know the buses that go there but if you're have a craving for real good spicy Korean food it's definitely worth the trip.
On busy days the place can get really loud and messy and service was a little bit slow when we were there but there were at least 30 people dining in their function room served only by 1 waiter while the other one was looking after the rest of the place.
I definitely recommend their kimchi-based dishes which are just fantastic or do a traditional Korean BBQ at your table, I'm pretty sure the food won't disappoint.

Best Korean restaurant in Budapest. The only thing that was a bit discouraging for us at first, is the menu. Although everything sounds delicious, it just has so many dishes on it (and for some reason the menu itself looked like it was put together from 3-4 different menu-booklets) that we were really unsure about what we can and should order. But then, you can always ask for the waiters, an they are more than ready to help you choose; very friendly and appropriate service.
The prices may seem a tad bit too high, but you get so much more than just the dishes you order: appetizers, snacks, side-dishes, desserts; all of this for no extra cost, so you end up with very great value food, and sizeable portions.
The atmosphere is astonishing, beautiful indoors!
The owner is really friendly! (If you aren't familiar with Korean culture: don't forget to bow after you pay, and before you leave! Just something to keep in mind).

If you come here for the food, your won't be disappointed. Wide selection of dishes, excellent quality. This is not fine dining however, this is core Korean! All other guests were Koreans, enough for an approval. :)
Things to know: prices may seem to be a bit high. BUT: you get more than you order. You get tea, appetizers, etc for free. Order less than you think you can eat, and maybe extend it later if required. The serving will be all at once anyway, as usual in Korea.
The staff is nice, helpful, and I don't get why people complain about the owner, he was OK for me.

I can only disagree with the previous review, and not only because of the totally pointless reference to prison camps... Some people really enjoy stereotypes.
Owner maintains a low profile but is always present, which means a lot, and waiters are calm and polite.
Speaking of food, this is the best Korean kitchen I have experienced in Budapest, a bit expensive ( but real Korean cuisine can not be cheap ) but worth every forint. Of course, it very much depends on what you order, how much you want to eat, if you stick to soft drinks/ beer or you go for wine ( wines are pricey )
I visited it several times and I also appreciate the care for the garden and the traditional ambience, which is rar for Korean businesses.

The food is great. No doubt about that, as Korean as it can get. But somehow, you have the feeling that you are not really welcome here. The owner doesn't speak any languages besides Korean, which makes you feel like being i n Korea, but it also makes you feel like an unwelcome foreigner. Weird. I told you. The waiters seem to be afraid of getting deported to some prison camp if they don't do their job, which makes them so goofy that they, well, don't really do their job. But once you have your food on the table - and it's what you actually ordered - then Korean gastro-heaven awaits you. Oh, one more thing: if you ARE Korean, you'lll probably love everthing about it.
