Great value for simple food, beer and wine. Goulash soup superb. Main course and a couple of beers for 4 is under £30. Brilliant!

We visited this café a number of times whilst in Budapest. We kept returning because of the relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff. Our children loved it as they were made to feel genuinely welcome. Excellent value for money and the chance to people watch if you get a table by the window!

Nothing to dislike. Food is good (goulash soup is tops) and very reasonably priced, good selection of beers too. Dark Dreher Boc is great if you like dark beers, 'Bernard' beer also.

Right next door to the Corinthia Hotel and a couple of minutes walk from Octagon metro this lovely little cafe serves great soups (the goulash soup is really tasty and only 1500FT which just under £4) They have a good selection of beers and wines and the service is really friendly and cheerful and the owner speaks good English Perfect for a very tasty but reasonably priced "soup and sandwich" stop

A great place for a coffee or a drink or a meal, just a few yards down the street from the Oktagon. Excellent, inexpensive food, friendly service, and they have cider ! Christine, the manager, speaks fluent English.
