We had a very nice experience at bibimbab, wonderful food with multiple vegaterian meals available.
Would visit again in a heartbeat

The food and service was great even though I showed up a little later, the staff was extremely friendly and the food was authentic Korean cuisine, would suggest eating with a friend as it is Korean custom

First of all, the place moved from Fő utca long ago to Erzsébet krt. 39, 1073.
Honestly, I don't have much comparison, the personnel look authentic, so probably so is the food, but I didn't feel it was high quality. It wasn't bad, it's just that it also wasn't a great experience, which is ok for the price, I guess.
I always loved the Korean way of serving, it's so much more comfortable and less awkward to use a calling button instead of stretching your neck so that the waiter notices you. What I didn't love is a recurring thing for authentic kitchen, namely that the personnel hardly speak Hungarian. I understand Budapest is becoming a cosmopolitan city and almost everybody speaks English in the world now, but it's not like you need a huge vocabulary to be able to make a relevant dialogue about serving and payment.

I love this place. It's my first time to dine in a Korean restaurant, and though I don't have any experience from the past to compare it too, I am absolutely confident the food here is absolutely amazing. Well, I think you can even tell by seeing how much Native South korean people are dining in there.
SUNDUBU JJIGAE if thats how you call it, became my absolute favorite, I would definitely pay a visit again soon 🥰
Staff are also nice and they speak english well too.

One of the best korean restaurants we’ve ever tried!
Amazing food for very good prices. Portions are quite big and the staff are very kind and helpful. They are very foreigners friendly, as their menu is also in English.
On our next visit to Budapest we will definitely come again. Recommend 100%!

Fantastic authentic Korean restaurant in Budapest, near the Chain bridge, down the Castle. Found this restaurant by coincidence. Absolutely worth visiting if you are looking for a great Korean food in Budapest. Service is very friendly, nice atmosphere. You can ask to make food less spicy if you don’t like your dishes spicy. Even kimchi jige can be made less spicy if you. Bibimpab is the way it should be, tasty mandu and tokkpokki. Very happy we have visited and we plan to return again. 감사합니다, 맛있어요!

While visiting this beautiful city, I did not expect to find such a great Korean restaurant. The atmosphere was friendly and hopping with tons of customers (on Tuesday night). I had the cold noodle soup and I nearly teared up at how good it was. We also had the #4 pork grilled dish and Korean pancakes. All well seasoned and delicious. Sitting in the restaurant the wonderful and savory aroma was an olfactory wonder.

First off - Bianka, you're awesome! :-)
Lovely location and friendly english and hungarian speaking staff. There is authentic, delicious and filling korean food in this restaurant, I highly recommend it. The hospitaly is great as well - we were a bit loud as we were having a celebration (and a few drinks), we ended up learning a drinking game from one of the staff members. The prices are more on the expensive side considering hungarian currency but the portions are huge and it includes banchan for the whole table, so it is absolutely worth it. Can't wait to be back here! 대단히 감사합니다~

We were looking for an Asian restaurant during our stay in Budapest and we accidently walked pass this restaurant during one of our walks.
We were very surprised by the quality of food and lovely and friendly service.
The Manager is a lovely gent and always looked after us, ensuring we know how to eat the traditional Korean food (as we are not Koreans!), and showed us how to mix food and even brining in some additional stuff from the kitchen...we loved it so much, we visited the restaurant again couple of days later.
The restaurant is clearly a favourite spot for Koreans in Budapest.
however, be mindful of the prices, as the food can be towards the pricy side..when compared to Western food.

I came here with a friend, we ordered three dishes, all of them really nice. Highly recommended for people who want to try authentic Asian food in Budapest!!

This place is absolutely amazing! First of all the owner is extremely kind, when ordering a dish you receive a full set of Korean salads and side dishes with refill.
The Bibimbap was amazing, perfect and authentic, the fried pork too.
Cannot wait to come back here! Such a special place!
A must visit for Korean culture enthusiasts

Kedves és segítőkész kiszolgálás nem koreaiknak is. A megkóstolt ételek nagyon finomak voltak. Angolul és koreaiul kommunikálnak, de ez nem vont le a kiszolgálás minőségéből. Újra megyünk...
Nice and helpful service not only for Koreans. The dishes we tasted were all delicious. The staff speaks English and Korean, but they try their best to communicate. We will visit again to taste other dishes. Thank you

This is by far the best Korean Food we ever had outside of Korea! On every motorbike trip through the world we always look for a Korean restaurant to eat in. Having lived in Korea for a long time I always found something, I didn't like, when eating in an abroad K-restaurant. Here I felt like in a Korean town. We were the only non-koreans, but felt at home at once. The staff speaks Korean, the adjoshi was very helpful and super friendly. There was korean music running, not too loud. You can even find korean goodies, like chips, coffee, ramyeon, seaweed, makkoli and more for sale! Even the cuttlery was original and the food- the food was the best! Original taste, the little side dishes always refilled and the right spicyness in every dish! We had different soups (haemul chapjje, pyeo haejjangguk, kimchi chiggae, mulnengmyeon), kimbap (the sesame oil!!) and a taste of so many delicious side dishes and everything tasted so good! Too bad, you cannot give 6 stars! Okay, here are 6 stars minus one for not having korean beer ;-)

Extremely authentic Korean food cooked by a Korean chef. The kim chi soup is good as well as the bi bim bap. Also enjoyed the marinated pork in a hot plate!
Excellent service and great value for money too!!

Went here on my first night in Budapest and my goodness it was so delicious!! I wasn’t aware of the different currency here but luckily they accepted euros so that was handy. The waitress was so lovely she showed me how to convert from Hungarian currency to euros as I was totally lost. There is lots of seating available inside and there’s a few outside too. The menu has a wide range of food to choose from and it’s really delicious. You get a bunch of stuff for free like tofu two ways and kimchi and yummy salad. I was impressed as it was nice and simple and tasty.

First of all food is utterly delicious. I tried there both hungarian and korean food. they are worth to try. Secondly, prices are reasonable and suitable for everyone and the meals come in a huge portions. You can find there english menu as well which makes the place tourist friendly. Staff are beautiful, helpful, friendly and speak multiple languages. The environment is like a family^^ thank you
