Nem sokkal zárás előtt érkeztünk azzal a céllal, hogy egy könnyed vacsora mellett aktív és részletgazdag beszélgetést folytatunk majd, ám ehelyett egy könnyed beszélgetésben találtuk magunkat részletgazdag, ínycsiklandó és a látszat ellenére nehéz ételekkel. Az ár magas volt, a mérce is (hiszen mégis csak hús nélküliségről van szó és gluténmentességről), a kapott számlán pedig szerepelt olyan étek is, amire nem emlékeztünk, hogy fogyasztottuk volna, ám mivel (úgy emlékszünk) egy árban volt azzal, amit rendeltünk, szemet hunytunk fölötte, elvégre már pakoltak össze, mi meg pár perccel túlóráztunk. Hiába, nehezen ment az asztaltól való távozás. A limonádénak adtam egy 5-öst. Az almaleves 7 pontot kapott, a gluténmentes céklafasírt szintén - nekem ez túl száraz volt -, a kukoricalepény és a grillezett szejtán medalion 8 pontot, a tofusrántotta és a káposztás rakott kel stefánia szelettel 10 pontos, akárcsak a gombapörkölt hajdinával. Legközelebb korábban jövünk :)

Az étel finom volt. Nagyon meleg volt bent. Egy sima szellőztetés sokat segített volna a helyzeten. Kint hűvös volt bent pedig izzadni lehetett.

A hangulatos terasz miatt ültunk be,sajnos hamar rájöttünk,hogy önkiszolgáló a hely:( Belső kialakítása nem annyira hívogató,a kiszolgálás rettentő körülményes,de az ételek és italok finomak voltak.

2017. novemberében volt szerencsém személyesen is megtapasztalni a kiváló hírnévnek örvendő Édeni Vegán Étterem fantasztikusan finom gasztronómiai remekeit és a kiváló kiszolgálást P. Szilvia részéről, Aki végtelenül kedves és intelligens, igazi vendégvonzó magatartással rendelkezik. Buda legrégebbi Vegán Étterme valóban rászolgált az "Édeni" jelzőre mind az egészséges és isteni finomságokat mind a sokoldalú kiszolgálást illetően. Alig várom a következő alkalmat.

Pont arra jártunk és éhesek voltunk. Leültünk a teraszra, öt perc, tíz perc személyzet sehol..,15 perc elteltével bementem és kiderült benn a pultnál van egy "darab" hölgy aki nem jön ám ki, menj be és kérj amit akarsz. Válogattunk 6-7 fajta micsodát fogyasztottunk, ja amit mi szolgáltunk fel magunknak, nekünk kellett kivinni az asztalunkhoz. Baromi drága és minőségben semmit nem kapsz, a kiszolgálás és maga a hely rendszere egyenlő a nullával. Egyszer próbáltuk többet biztos nem!

A vegán étkezés számomra kuriózum, mindig bemegyek ezekre a helyekre is. Tetszett, hogy van kézműves sörük. A menü gyakran változik, a kiszolgálás sem mindig egyforma. Egy könnyű ebéd bármikor megfelel ezen a helyen.

Great Portions, creative, very well seasoned, not too oily. Only negative point: you will be sad you didn‘t try everything on the menu. The personell is really warm and gives the place an authentic and welcoming feeling.

My sister order a hamburger which was pretty good. However, my carrot ball was terrible. Even tho the serving was somewhat nice. Beverages were great as well. So someone who isn’t a vegan should be careful choosing the food 😊

We both had one of the 'Big Plate' meals which was a meze platter of smaller dishes. Each one was unique and absolutely delicious. The server was kind and patient with us as we'd just arrived in Hungary and couldn't decide what to have as there was so much choice.

I personally loved my meal at Édeni - it is a buffet type set up so it isn’t for everyone but I felt very welcomed right away and the home cooked style of food was right up my street! Portions were generous and I enjoyed my time there.

Glad we tried this restaurant, the food is nice portion size are generous, the pickled vegetable salads are a must. We had the mix plate which meant we could try a little of everything, It was refreshing to have some fresh vegetables along with other dishes. Overall a good experience and good for vegetarians.

I ate dinner there today, they are open 8am - 8pm, and it was very good. I had the Sri tan, brown rice and salad with a cold beer. For dessert I had the tiramisu and that too was delicious. It’s self service and self clean up. You can sit outside or inside. I sat outside and watched the world go by. I would have eaten more but it was filling food. This was my 3rd day in Hungary and I was hungry for good vegan food.

The food was really tasty and there was plenty to choose from. It is a pick and mix style restaurant where you choose as much as you would like to eat and pay for the individual items. The vegan meats were really good. The service from the staff was very friendly and helpful in explaining what each dish was.

Super helpful staff - I couldn’t speak very much Hungarian and they kindly translated the menu into English which was so nice! Vegan food was great too!

The food was great. You go in and can choose from many different vegan options. So could mix and match what you wanted. The food was a mixture between hot food and cold food - so whatever you fancy there is something for you. I must say I mixed and matched quite a lot as everything looked so yummy and I wanted to try it all. The food was as delicious as it looked and it also had a healthy feel to it so we didn’t have too much guilt about eating so much. There was also seating available outside and it was quite a cute setting.

Found this place quite by accident. It is quite homely as some restaurants can be in Budapest but that makes it all the more comfortable. The staff are very helpful and menus at the counter are both in English and Hungarian. They serve standard vegan fair and the helpings are quite substantial and in a city where the prices have risen substantially since I started visiting the costs are reasonable

After arriving in Budapest for the 3rd time to celebrate our 2nd Wedding anniversay we wanted a vegan lunch after busy morning of travelling. The lady serving the buffet was fantastic and she explained each dish to us. We ordered then to realise it was cash only but she let us eat first ( don't think you would get that in the uk for fear of people doing a runner!) The food was traditonal Hungarian with seitan or tofu, delish flavours and spices also salads! Also a great range of vegan cakes.

I jumped on it by chance. A really nice surprise. The food is pre cooked and you can choose what you want to eat. The pricing was good and also was the quality. I also had a raw dessert cake

Very kind lady at the counter. Food was good for breakfast, not the chepeast, but tasty. We had a mock sausage stew with potatoes and tofu omelette. Chili sauce was basically salt though. You can take food to go in containers. Cash only.

A lot of locals were eating here which made it very authentic. The mock meat is tasty and the presentation is great! Our meat eating friends were impressed and everyone enjoyed their meal and was full afterwards. The restaurant is clean and comfy. The bathrooms are also clean. It did seem a tad pricey but the food was good and the portions were significant, which in my mind made it good value for money.
