Amazing hungarian food, one of the best beef goulash. The staff is very firendly, the place is very nice and cozy. Perfect for romantic dinner, small family or friend meetings if you like good food and palinka.

We stopped here because of the proximity to the Hotel Palazzo Zichy (great place) when we were too tired to go further. The restaurant actually provides room service to the hotel. We were the only diners in the place and had a good but not spectacular dinner of Hungarian food. Ambiance in the daylight basement was nice and service very good. It is a nice option for guests of the hotel, which is half a mile or so from more concentrated collections of restaurants.

Our group of five enjoyed schnitzels, duck with dumplings, a mixed grill and a shared mixed starter of salami, ham and salad. Excellent white wine (Kúcs Gyula Pécsi Irssi Olivér) at HUF 2,890 a bottle. Friendly, efficient device - our waiter turned down the canned music when we asked him to. The bill was a reasonable HUF 28,000, including a HUF 2,700 tip. The below street level dining room is cosy in cold weather while in summer the restaurant has outdoor seating on attractive, pedestrianised Krúdy utca.

Krudy is a fairly priced, charming restaurant near the Hotel Palazzo Zichy. The father-son team who waited on us were attentive without being instrusive. No credit cards but they take euros and dollars. The goulash and chicken dishes were delicious and the portions were large. Price-fixed three course dinner was ten euros.
