Lipoty is really the best local Hungarian bakery chain. They have great variety and affordable prices. Customer service is ~Hungarian~ which means they serve you but dont expect too much. The last hour or 30 minutes (not entirely sure) is 50% off.

Besides the usual breakfast bun and the basic breads, you can find here many kinds of breads of * whole wheat * gluten free * high fibre They have also milk, yoghurt, salami, cold mayo and green salad, soft drink, hot coffee. This is a chain, you find them at popular locations. Most shops have table and seats. Always fresh!!!!! Open till 7 or 8 pm. After 6pm, the bakery items are on 50% sale.

Staff very friendly. Had to get a fast breakfast raised late. So ate breakfast a poppyseed strudel like thing and cappuccino to go while waiting in line for my sightseeing bus. Great selection of pastry. Needed more time in pest to eat all those goodies.
