Egy kis csalódás az étterem. Menűt ettünk 2 félét és mindkettő átlagos volt. A gyümölcs leves édes és kevés gyümölcs. A rántott sajt megint csak alig érte el a közepest.

A kiszolgálás rendkívül kedves és figyelmes. Először jártunk itt mégis úgy bántak velünk mint régi vendégekkel. Az ételek tényleg háziasak és az adagok meglepően nagyok.

Egy egyszerű vendéglő a Hősök teréhez közel. Az étlap a hely színvonalához mérten megfelelő, az ételek finomak! Az árak kifejezetten barátságosak. A kiszolgálás átlagos, a helyiségre pedig bizony ráférne egy kis "csinosítás"

A konyha igazi magyaros ízekkel dolgozik, még sosem csalódtam. A leves sem az a csésze féle (amit egyébként gyűlölök), hanem rendes adag. Mindenkinek ajánlom, annak ellenére, hogy nem egy szuper-felújított-csicsás hely, csalódottan és üres hassal nem fogtok távozni. Sok sikert!

We took a punt here as I am coeliac and was wary. However the lady immediately put me at my ease and made recommendations. 10,000huf for two main meals, two soft drinks, a coffee and a side salad. Great value. Will definitely go back.

Enjoyed the homemade style meal and the efficient no nonsens service. Found it by pure chance in an area near Hero's Square apparently devoid of any foodplace otherwise. Was a good prep before getting into the museum that is on walking distance

It’s a place with regular prices for the food that presents! The staff is not the best, but there are only one waitress for all job. We enjoy typical food form Hungary. Very close to the thermals.

We love this little place. It’s run by a Matriarch who speaks several languages and who is very knowledgeable about her food. This was the 2nd time I’ve been here because it’s just across the road from an Ibis and because it’s good. The food is delicious, freshly cooked and traditional and the prices are great. The first time we came here was because they also cater pretty well fro Vegans. Overall it’s great.

I went here because previous reviews seemed ok and it was close to where I was staying. I went quite early in the evening and there were only 3 other tables occupied. There was a big TV on the wall playing an MTV type channel. I chose a risotto which arrived fairly quickly and tasted ok and filled me up. A bit 'Uncle Ben's' but then it was inexpensive. The place was more like a bar than a restaurant.

I ordered the pork cutlets with french fries. it came with a small portion of side salad. big portion, to be honest, enough for two people. one pork cutlet would have been enough and I got two! the pancake dessert was good, again a big portion... the staff were helpful and polite, and spoke good english. one thing I did not like, there were staff passing right in front of my table with large, full bin bags throughout my visit. I don't know if there was garbage, laundry or whatever else in them, but it wasn't a nice meal accompaniment :/

Really great food, not too much fat, very typical flavour, quite sour as it should be. One of the best places in Budapest. Meal is huge!

It is placed very close to Varosliget and it is really cheap. The staff was really kind and helpful, traditional food was tasty and good quality. The only complaint I have is about pancakes, because they were a little bit burned, but still yummi.

This restaurant serves traditional Hungarian food at ridiculously cheap (for us Brits) prices. It has red and white checked table cloths which my wife and I always believe is a good thing. The owner is quite a fierce lady but she speaks excellent English and has an intimate knowledge of the menu, which itself is great. The service is good and the prices are perfect.
