Nagyon kellemes, francia stílusú hely, délben mini menüvel, finom pékáruval és kávéval. A boraikat nem próbáltam, de ha estefelé járok arra, azt is megpróbálom legközelebb. A személyzet angoltudásán van mit csiszolni, de alapjába véve kedves a kiszolgálás. A galéria részen (ami önmagában is nagyon hangulatos) egy pici gyereksarkot is kialakítottak.

Found this place by accident and glad we did. Went 3x for breakfast as well as later for coffee and cakes and it was excellent each time. Really good quality food at very reasonable price. Lovely service by all the staff.

We found this place by accident and had a lovely breakfast sat outside on the very quiet street. We ordered a chocolate croissant and granola and seasonal fruit for food, both were great, along with a super strong espresso that properly woke me up and OJ. Friendly service too. Will gladly go back

Pohárszék is a great location not only for having a nice breakfast, but also to have lunch or to just snack on some of their salads or pastries and drink some wine. The place is located near Liberty Square and it’s easily seen when walking passed it. You can choose to sit inside, specially if it’s cold or raining, and feel cozy in there. If it’s a beautiful day I would recommend you take advantage of the outdoor sitting. Their options of sweet and savory pastries are very good, and the jam they serve with their croissants is to die for! They also make omelets and scrambled eggs for those who, like me, need some protein to start the day. If you order the eggs and ask for some bread with it don’t forget to specify that you want this bread from the picture that is shaped like a horseshoe, I promise you won’t regret! They also have sandwiches and salads (the eggs come with a small amount of salad though). I haven’t have their wines yet (that should be the next review) but I know they have a good selection, as for breakfast beverages they serve good options with coffee and also tea and juices for those who are avoiding caffeine. I usually spend 2000 HUF when I only eat eggs + bread and a capuccino. I hope you enjoy your experience there as much as I always do!

Nagyon finom!! I came here for brunch and had the scrambled eggs and a sausage pastry. Very well presented and very tasty! You will easily feel at home here as the owners hand-pick everything they serve you and bring it with a smile! Köszönöm szépen Pohárszék!!

I am travelling to Budapest quite often, therefore looking for nice place to sit down and feel mixture of local and home atmosphere. Definitely, this place is fulfilling my requirement and expectations. You can find one of the best coffee in the city, served by very polite and friendly staff. If you are hungry you can choose among many different refreshments but also regular meals. And what is the biggest value of this place - great selection of Hungarian wines, not from massive production, but very niche and unique hand-made tasty red, white, rose wines. Every time I visit them, I buy a few bottles to bring home and share with family and friends. If you are planning your trip to Budapest, you have to visit Poharszek, drink coffee or wine and feel calm and relaxed.

Lovely place, very helpful staff, knowledgable in both coffee and wine... which is kind of strange pairing... but it works. Also some nice local food available, great for taking it home after a short stay in Budapest. I liked that tthere is an upper level available as well to get some separation from the street noises...

Doing a long writing residency round the corner, this became our local cafe and we couldn't have hoped for better. Friendly, helpful staff (and knowledgeable too - they sold wine to take out and made great recommendations); a simple but imaginative menu; excellent coffee and a good selection of wines by the glass. Tables under the tress on the street were our favourite, but the tables inside were good too. So good to find somewhere we could sit and write and not be hurried on. We miss this place!

We headed early mornig for Liberté Budapest on the other side of the street of Pohárszék, but it was closed. Locals seem to use this shop early morning as a take away for coffee or a sandwiches. The choice for breakfast is limited but more than OK for a quick breakfast and some good coffee. Next time I’ll have to taste the wine.

one of my favorite coffee shops in Budapest....nice atmosphere and great coffee, sweets and breakfast/light lunch.....also nice juices and healthy options.....wine selection (retail as well) is small, but outstanding selection of small, hard-to-find Hungarian producers and some nice Palinka and micro-brews as well.

I was drawn ib by the cushions on the seats outside and the look of the place. We stopped for a cappucino and a sandwich both of which were pretty average. It was busy with locals so perhas it was just me - I preferred the shop 20m away

Great coffee, friendly staff. Space upstairs is great to work or have meetings in. Wine selection is good too, although I hardly ever have any because they close fairly early. Overall, highly recommended.

Tökéletes találkahely üzleti, baráti vagy romantikus találkákhoz. Kedves kiszolgálás, minőségi étel és ital választék, jó árak. Mindenkinek ki kell próbálnia. It is a perfect place for busines, friend or romantic meetings. Very nice stuff, quality foods and drinks, good prices. Everybody has to try it.
