Igazi retro díszek, vidám hangulat. Angolul (magyarul nem) beszélő felszolgáló, aki nagyon kedves egyébként. Az ételek fagyasztóból kerülnek elő, amik ugyan ehetőek, viszont így picit drágák. Jól éreztük magunkat.

Meg van a maga sajátos hangulata, aki a retró, vintage stílust szereti amibe vannak relikviák annak tetszeni fog. A kiszolgálás teljesen rendben van a hölgy nagyon udvarias és segítőkész volt. Figyelembe tudták venni az allergiám, nem okozott gondot. A forró csokijuk nekem nagyon ízlett. Aranyos kis hely.

Nagyon kellemes hely. Nagyobb társasággal voltam és volt velünk egy elektromos kerekesszékes is, akinek a kocsiját segíteni kellet bevinni. Ebben minden segítséget megkaptunk. A személyzet és a tulajdonos is mindenben késséges volt. Jól éreztük magunkat.

Great hungarian food. We ate Goulash, fried pork and table of cheese and everything das delicious. Plus drinks, coffee and dessert for less than 30€. Very recommended. Staff very nice

Nice retro interior, terrific location, reasonable prices (at least for the beer), free wi-fi (pass: terv2012). Go upstairs and enjoy your beer.

I came across this place as it is not far from the Airbnb I rented. As I wanted to get traditional Hungarian fare, why go further, this was not a mistake. The service was great, the food delicious and the beer cold. Highly recommend a stop.

I wanted to try Terv Presszo because of the TripAdvisor reviews & because I needed my Hungarian food fix. It is just off the beaten path but well worth the extra steps. I started off with a well priced draft beer & a steaming bowl of goulash which hit the spot on this chilly, rainy night. I then had the chicken paprikash which was huge & delicious. I finished off the meal with Bailey & coffee & ice cream. The foot was delicious and great value. The wait staff was courteous & welcoming. The ambiance was very warm, kitschy & fun.Definitely now one of my very favorites in the city.

This restaurant is overrated. The waiters were friendly, but the food was only ok. Reading the other reviews I expected more. Also when we were there everyone eating there was a tourist. (might have been because it was on a holiday)

We found this little restaurant on TripAdvisor and we were really surprised. Though from the outside restaurant looks the same as dozens of another 'typical Hungary' places, the quality of food and drinks says something another. The food isn't the cheapest, but there is a plenty of it on the plate. I had a pörkölt which was my first time experience with it, but I liked it. My girlfriend had a cheeseburger which was a little bit well done. But a really big portion as well. The big advantage for me as a Czech is a good drafted Pilsen Urquel. The rose vine was good too. You should try this place on your way from the Parlament.

Found this place round the corner from our hotel on our first day and fancied a couple Of beers and a light bite. Staff were really nice and beer lovely and cold. We also shared a great mixed meat and cheese platter. Saw some other meals coming out and they looked amazing so will definitely return. Very reasonably priced as well. All in all a really great bar/cafe to watch the world go by. If it’s a nice day get a table outside.

Terv was recommended to us by someone on the TripAdvisor Budapest Forum and I am so glad we took their advice. We went for dinner our first evening in Budapest and it could not have been a better introduction to Hungarian food. We both had a cup of the garlic soup which was outstanding. We are determined to figure out how to create our own version of it because it would be sad to never have it again. It was that good. I had chicken paprikash as my entree and my husband had Brassoi. Both were very good with very generous portion sizes. We both liked my paprikash a little better as it really was great and the dumplings in the sauce were incredible, but we would order both again. I had an "apple pie" mixed drink that was also very good. Compared to the US the prices were amazing for what we got. It was average for Budapest. Basically an excellent deal. Service was very friendly and helpful. I was very impressed with both women working FOH, especially as I had read a lot about how service can be aloof in Hungary because of cultural differences. I have to say this was not our experience at all. The only place we encountered that aloofness was at an old-school restaurant and that was more "professional" than anything else. In short, Terv is great so definitely go and try to garlic soup and paprikash!

We visited here after a recommendation from family. The bar is very quirky and cool and the staff were helpful. We stayed for drinks and food. I had the beef stew toast and it was lovely. Good value and would definitely recommend. Will 100% return on our next trip to Budapest to explore some more of the options on the menu!

I had an AMAZING Goulash that I was expecting for many days in my stay in Budapest. Service is super quick and the food is typical and great. Accessible if you think that it's in the middle of Budapest where everything is super expensive
