Nekem tetszett is meg nem is de ez most nekem kicsit gyengébb volt mint a többi némelyik kép gyönyörű de van egy két nem tetszett is.

Ha egy nagyon gyors kávét szeretne inni akkor ez a hely megfelelő. A pincérek kedvesek, gyorsak. Nagyon szépen köszönjük.

A very good restaurant with tasty food and good service. I ate an excellent goulash. Two dancers entertained us. Cheap and good food.

When travelling in the Hungary, I enjoy the food in this rest, oh so good, the view ok and the staff in here so nice. I will introduce for my friend.

Not disappointed by the usual presentation of 'self cooked' meat on the hot stone grill. Good service and excellent English spoken, Beware if sitting outside; this is a real sun trap and gets almost as hot as the hotstone!

We had an evening meal here, going in as we were passing and needed a meal. We were made very welcome and service was good. The food was good and didn’t take too long to arrive. Reasonably priced as well. Recommended.

I've just enjoyed a cocktail here with my partner. The restaurant decor is absolutely stunning and very relaxing. Their pianist is superb, and we could have happily stayed much longer had we more time. My Pina Colada was delicious.
The owner happened to be in tonight, and as we left he gifted us his book, which he signed for us. This was very thoughtful of him and much appreciated. We would definitely visit again.

Found this restaurant based on a Google maps search for nearby restaurants, after doing the hop-on-hop-off cruise.
Had the Hungarian steak, which was served on a hot stone, so that you can cook it to your own preferred doneness. I’ve had other hot-stone steaks before, but this is the best so far. The steak was well-seasoned and it was easy to reach a medium-rare doneness for most of the eating duration, while keeping the steak at optimal heat.
The service was prompt and friendly, and there was a pianist playing live music.
I would rate this a must-try if you’re in Budapest!

We decided to come and try this place as we had been told they did a show (no show apparently on a Sunday when we went). We also had 10% off from the hop on hop off bus tour, but as they brought our bill before talking to us we were told they couldn’t apply the discount! They did apologise and offered us a bottle of water to take back to the hotel, but.... computer says no!
Food was nice, but lots of it!

My wife's and I first meal in Budapest and we will struggle to top it during our stay!
My wife had the Hungarian hot stone pork and I chose the hot stone steak. Both of which were delicious and came to us very promptly.
Beer and wine selections were good and the service we received was excellent.
Greatb little traditional themed and styled restaurant to enjoy a meal as a couple or friends.

We popped in during the day while walking next to the river, the decor is very interesting and the staff were very friendly. Nice seating area outside too. The food was very tasty. Worth popping if you’re passing even just for a coffee, the coffee was outstanding. Very pleasant visit.

Wonderful authentic Hungarian restaurant. We had a delicious hot stone steak whilst listening to a pianist and a violinist. There is also traditional Hungarian dancing some evenings. Food was so good we came back again.

I'm going to be really honest and say the only reason we went here was they spoke English and we were exhausted after a day of sightseeing. :) But what a surprise! The food was incredible. I had the duck on a hot stone, which was amazing. My husband tried the goulash and said it was really good as well.
As if the food wasn't reason enough to eat here, we also got to enjoy live music from two very talented musicians, a pianist and a violinist. The restaurant is very small, so it was like we had a private concert. Then as we were almost ready to leave, folk dancers came and performed for us.
It was definitely a highlight of our trip. We are really glad we stopped here!

We thought this was going to be a nice spot for a quick drink and some relaxing music... the drink was indeed quick!
Music was not so relaxing, but instead a concoction of odd singing; violin playing and piano thumping duo to present the Beatles greatest hits and the odd gypsy classic. After some giggles we decided to drink double quick and move on whilst being eye-balled out by the oddly dressed mannequins on the balcony.

Having had a disappointing previous night at Spoon the Boat, it was a complete contrast at the Imperator. The setting is quirky and unique in a good way. The service was prompt, the staff polite, the food was delicious and the entertainment, in the form of traditional Hungarian style music and dancing, made it a great and leisurely night out at reasonable prices. We’d recommend a visit to anyone visiting Budapest.

Fabulous evening with great entertainment, lovely location and hot stone food, even a limo if required. Great value.

I had two excellent meals here during my visit last week and love this place. The staff and even the owner "Rick" could not be more welcoming! Dinner each night was delicious and especially recommend the steaks served still cooking on super heated stone slabs. The Hungarian folk dancers, fabulous duo piano man and violinist topped off the most enjoyable evenings! Make it a definite destination stop!

The place was almost across our hotel, so we went there for the short bite before the big meeting next morning. But stayed for hours! You do not want to leave this place. Live piano music plus some local entertainers are doing the great job. Service was superb, and when something was missing, the gent run to the other restaurant (from the same owner) which is five minutes away to bring the bottle of wine. I am not sure that this is Hungarian way, but they have full menu of fish and meat dishes that you cook on the hot stones at the table. It is really a lot of fun. And than there is an owner. He is an elderly person who been travelling around the globe in the different managerial positions before settling in Budapest. All of his adventures are described in 7 (volumes) in different languages that are spread around the place. You may pick up the books for free and he will even sign them for you. Great place to spend a fun night in Budapest! We will be back.

we called in here for a drink after our Danube river trip, early on our first evening. We caught it as it was two for one drinks ( pay f or the first and get a second free). The staff were friendly, excellent drinks and very quirky decorations from a painting of Julius Ceasar to an AK47 on the wall with a gypsy pianist playing the piano.
Great atmosphere. They do advertise a free limi ride but the limo hasn't worked for about three years
