The tapas are to big to order as tapas. But you can order them as starters. We tried four vegetarian dishes and loved them all.

Downtown of Budapest you can find a hidden treasure. Close to all types of public transportation. Nice foods, friendly staff. But the best is the summer terrace. Spacious!

Coffee and food was delicious and fresh. Great breakfast options and juices. Host was kind and friendly, but food does take a while to arrive. Go if you have time to sit and enjoy a meal.

We've done some of the Saturday evening wine tastings and had tapas as well. The service is great as is the food and atmosphere!

What I love the most in this place is their special wines in their Tresor. The Hungarian, Transylvanian, and Spanish wine selections offer a total of more than 50 handcrafted wines next to the tapas. I highly recommend the place for wine lovers.

Thyme is adjacent to the Holmes place fitness center. It is very convenient for a bite to each, excellent coffee and a place to meet. I would suggest turning down the music slightly and changing the station from club music to something calmer. The food is very good and has a great selection.

We enjoyed a few glasses of the house red which was very inexpensive and wonderful. We also shared a tapas plate of bread and wonderful dips. Our waiter graciously brought us more warm grilled bread to finish our dips. We randomly chose this place on a rainy Monday night and it was defintely worth the slight detour off the main bar area.

Thyme Kitchen guys are arranging wine tasting sundays afternoons in every month. I can recommend it. Great entertainment for lazy sunday afternoons. During these events you can learn and taste 6 great Hungarian wines. The wine tapas were amazing too. For Euro 20. At the next door, Holmes Place is also a great place for wellness.
