For over a year now the iranian owner took back the place and makes the best falafel sandwich in town. I'm not joking, he uses a special sauce that makes it super tasty and special. Also very cheap!

Az étterem nem túl nagy, viszont a tulajdonos szíve és lelke annál inkább-amivel ezeket a remek ételeket elkészíti. Irigylésre méltó, ahogy hozzálát az előkészítésnek és ahogy az ételeket a vendégeknek kínálja! Máshol fele ilyen barátságos fogadtatásban sem részesültem még!!!Csak ajánlani tudom mindenkinek, aki "vega" étrendű és jót szeretne enni.:)

Meghatározó élmény volt! Hummusban (és minden másban is) nagyon erős - talán a legjobb, amit Budapesten ettem. Egész biztosan visszatérek.

The best falafel in Budapest. Go, relax and enjoy. Not a fast food place (so don’t go if you’re in a hurry) but WELL worth the wait. Tasty, healthy and cooked with care. I’d recommended the pita or the “complete” plate

The place is small, but don't let that fool you. The owner cooks right there and he is great. The best hummus, the best falafel and some vegan dessert he had just made... I wish I can come back

If you are anything like me and love hummus, this is a must! The falafel is quite simply delicious, I watched the owner make and cook the falafel whilst I waited. The salad and hummus is a wonderful combined and the lightly toasted pitta was a perfect accompaniment. Even if you're not vegan, I'd recommend going to Tik-Tak Hummus

We enjoyed our meal here at the Tim-Tak Hummus Restaurant. We started with ‘the complete’ meal - deliciously fresh produce with amazing hummus and like everyone else has said, the best falafels ever. They taste kind of nutty, but I doubt there are nuts in them. I was still hungry though, so had a falafel pita as well. We followed that with some homemade coconut dessert, only 150huf for dessert and it was yummy. Would highly recommend for vegans and non-vegans alike. Israeli food in a great setting.

So very simple but oh so good. Probably the best falafel I've ever had. We were the only customers there, but service was very friendly and the food was heavenly.

I was traveling with my vegan friend looking for appropriate restaurants; this one had good reviews, and deserves it! Run by a quiet owner, we turned up around 8:30pm, and he played maître d', waiter, and cook. We were the only people in and were treated well; I guess service might get a bit slow if it's busy and he's on his own. I went for the complete, which was very tasty and I can highly recommend!

Vegetables were crisp and flavorful hummus was delectable and the felafel was delicious. I assume there was more to the restaurant but I sat at the front and watched the meal get prepared. Felt very much like grandpas kitchen not a restaurant.

Although the kitchen was almost closed we were were surprised by an unexpexted fantastic quality of Falafel plate ... and even got a second one. Thank you! The upper floor of the little restaurant is very simple and cozy. We recommend to test this location - so tasty that you do not miss any meat.

Nothing else comes close, highly recommend! Even the hardcore carnivores like this place. Don't leave Budapest without trying the sandwich or complete plate.

The best falafels & hummus in Budapest! And maybe in the whole world! Open daily from 5 to 10pm. You can take away or eat on the spot. I bet you’ll fall in love!

We found this place on our way home from the centre of town. When we were stood outside looking at the menu, a local walked past and told us we MUST try and I'm so glad we did!!! The owner was absolutely lovely and we had a falafel and hummus plate which was freshly made. This dish will honestly stay with me for the rest of my life. Absolutely delicious.
