Seems Hungarians simply cannot cook bad food. Everything was good and tasty. Unpleasant is that you can pay only in cash.

Amazing authentic Hungarian Cuisine, can't miss if you are around. Plenty of parking and they cater big parties with ease. Don't skip the Soup, you can't go wrong with any of them.

Két személyes tálat rendeltünk n~égyen (2 felnőtt 2 gyerek) és nem sikerült megenni akkora adagot kaptunk. Gyors volt a kiszolgálás az árak nem baráiak de egy közeli 4csillagos hotel étterméhez képest olcsóbb.

Kedves hangulatos hely! Nekem olyan magyaros csárda jelleget áraszt.az étlap egyszerű, nincs sok étel de ezt kifejezetten szeretem.sokszor a kevesebb a több! Bőséges volt amit rendeltünk és ízletes.kiszolgalas megfelelő. Nyáron kifejezetten hangulatos .ajánlom !

Minden alkalommal, ha erre járunk betérünk, és sohasem csalódtunk. A csárda mögötti kert és terasz pedig fantasztikusan szép és kellemes, még a nagy nyári melegben is.

Röviden és tömören....vasárnap kora délutáni órákban érkeztünk, kellemes fogadtatás, fiatal és tisztelettudó felszolgálók, a mi pincérünk egy vékony testalkatú magasabb fiú volt :), külön megjegyezném én is felszolgáló voltam 10évig és nem csalódtam a fiatalemberben :)!! Az étterem nagyon tágas és rendezett a hátsó udvar nagy és szép viszont mi bent ültünk, ahol szintén nagy a hely/tér, kicsit zavaró volt a legyek társasága, de elnézőek voltunk nyár nagy meleg, viszont annál kiválóbb ételek!! Az 5*-os értékelés nem véletlen, mindent rendben találtunk az étteremben, kreatív szakács, ételek is mind egytől-egyik finomak voltak...desszerteknek nincs nagy választéka viszont nekünk pont megfeleltek...nem csalódtunk abban sem!! Ha átutazóban még arrafelé járunk biztosan betérünk :)

Ezùttal a megszokott kedvenc ételem helyett (általában a libamájragus bordát választom) mást kértem, de most sem csalódtam. Tökéletes kiszolgálás, pedig sokan voltak, és isteni étel. A többieknek is ízlett minden. Jövünk máskor is.

Ausztriából hazafelé, tettünk egy kitérőt.Hagyományos magyaros étterem kínálata! Az ételek mennyisége, minősége hibátlan volt, A salátabár kínálata elég szegényes, csak savanyúságokat találtunk, szósz nem volt. Összességeben meg voltunk elégedve!

The interior of restaurant is very nice, traditional and huge place with many tables for many guests. The menu offers many many meals probably too many to be all in good quality. In this restaurant we had the worst Tartare biftek what we ever had. It was big plate full of everything except meat. Meat was a little and mixed with mustard and other ingredients. In the middle of plate was huge amount of something what we identified like a butter. They do not offer real tasty and traditional hungarian bread but simple toast bread. Such a shame! We also ordered fried camembert what was one piece of camembert cheese split in half and covered in thick layer of breadcrumbs. Not very tasty. The prices are toooooo high comparing to offered quality. It is not cheap restaurant.It is quite expensive place. Also staff can improve behavior to guests. In spite of everything it is the best restaurant in this region of Rajka and nice place to meet friends.

This weekend I had the pleasure to have some friends from Germany visiting Bratislava. Next to trying to give them the best guide in the city, I definitely did not want them to miss the chance to taste the kitchen of Hungary, since it is only 20km away from the Slovak Republic. And I did not miscalculate :) Weather was hot and clear and we could sit outside on the teracce. The menu was in Hungarian, Slovak and German, this saved me the time to translate all the food names. They definitely wanted to have something traditional so we had the following setup (there were 5 of us): - 3x Jókai bean soup - 1x fish soup - 1x Goulash soup The serving was amazing, all the soup was served either in a kettle or in a small pan to which we had small versions of ladle!!! Totally adorable :) As for the portion ... amazing, noone of us could finish it up. As for the taste, well we shared and tated back and forth, everyone could taste each other's soup, and there was no minute without the yummy sounds and the word DELICIOUS. As for the main course we chose: 1x dumplings with eggs (tojásos nokedli) 1x beef stew with dumplings 1x chicked paprikás with doumplings 1x pork cutlets with potato (cigánypecsenye) 1x fittness salad ... very not Hungarian :D :D :D All for this I can only repeat myself, portions huge, taste perfect! :) As for desert we were so full that we only had 1 portion of Somlói galuska. It disappeared in 5 seconds, I'm not lying :) :) :) All in all, the athmosphere was perfect, the life music with traditional songs gave a special feeling to the whole lunch :) My friends told me that definitely we should come back, should they every be again in the near :) The only minus for the restaurant is that you can't pay by card, but who cares, take money out from the ATM and eat here, it's definitely worth it!!!
