Fantasztikus élmény volt a képi és az ízvilág harmóniája. Nem volt még részem hasonlóban máshol. Egészen egyedi a fogások között látható animáció mely a felszolgált étel specialitás származási helyét mutatja be. A fogások különlegesek rendhagyóak és finomak. A felszolgálás udvarias és minden igényt kielégít. A gasztronómia iránti elhivatottság egyik jó példája.

One of the best dining experiences we ever had. If you want an unforgettable evening and you're not on a budget you should definitely try UNCENSORED. Not cheap but absolutely worth every penny. The atmosphere can't be captured in pictures but I've added a few to give you an idea ;)

Tegnap este a párom elvitt meglepetésből az Uncensoredba, a titkos étterembe Budapesten. Nem tudom szavakkal leírni, hogy mennyire csodálatos volt az egész. Fantasztikus gasztrokultúra, kedves és profi személyzet , nagyon finom borok társaságában. Csak ajánlani tudom mindenkinek.

Az ötlet gazdája csodálatos dolgot alkotott, mikor megnyitotta az Uncensoredet. Fantasztikus élmény volt tegnap este a párommal úgy vacsorázni, hogy közben az étterem más országokba repítettek minket a kis videóikkal. A ételek mennyeiek, látványosak és kiválóak voltak akárcsak a szerviz. A borpárosítás szintén piros pontot érdemel, sose kóstoltunk ilyen finom borokat. Köszönjük a lehetőséget még biztos visszatérünk!

Alkalmam volt megjelenni az egyik ún. "soft opening" napon. Hát szavakkal le nem írható videó és gasztroélményben volt részem. Kellemes hangulat, fantasztikus szervíz, ételek és lenyűgöző élményvacsora fogadott. Titkos ajtón keresztül egy teljesen új világba kalauzoltak. Visszajövök, az tuti :)

We found uncensored on Google maps, the concept sounded amazing and my gosh am I so glad we booked. First off we want to give credit to the waitresses that served us. Timi, Lile & Zsófi were great, service with a smile, incredible knowledge on the local area and the delivery of food was absolutely perfect. Those girls were a massive contribution to a great experience overall. The experience itself was out of this world. I won't give away too much and will just encourage people to trust in the concept but I guarantee you will not leave feeling disappointed. Worth every single penny that was spent and the food was unbelievable. Expect to be out for roughly 3/4hours and I would recommend not getting the pairings go free range on the drinks because the cocktails are delicious. Tip: The resteraunt is hidden at the back of the Caviar & Bull so if you're following via Google maps this is where you want to go.

We enjoyed the entrance presentation very much. However, the same music that played forever and the time spent waiting for other guests made us feel tired even before we started eating. The Hungarian video was beautiful, but the video never stopped and flowed around the room, so those who are prone to seasickness need to be careful a bit. And the video of other countries seemed to be very ordinary. The most disappointing thing was the food. The appetizer of apparagus was tasty, but the goulash was disappointing, the tuna was too thick and felt very very heavy, and the tempura was too sticky and oily to eat... I couldn't even taste the wasabi. and the Chinese pork dishes was..... . sorry but, The ribs at the end are not Spare ribs. I could not feel any freshness or novelty in the dishes. The cocktails were also disappointing. The service was very average. It was just not for us.

I cannot fault the food or service. We enjoyed the wine pairing(600ml.per person!) I have to say I found the concept a little odd and not my thing at all, but judging by the largely positive reviews I'm in the minority. It's expensive but as I say the quality of food is good.

Everything there was just amazing, the promise of a multi-sensorial experience has been largely kept : the visuals and sounds were really immersive and impressive, the quality of what we ate and drink was incredible, and the service by Matyas was just perfect. I saw this restaurant in trip advisor and their web site really intrigued me. I have to say this is one of the most sumptuous meals I have had in a long time. It's six tasting, each from a different country. They have an audio and visual 360 degree presentation before each tasting. They display sights and music representative of the country while you eat. It is truly providing a treat for your senses. If you come to Budapest you have to come here.

On arrival we were welcomed by the manager who we felt was truly happy to see us; a great start. We "visited", Spain, Japan, China and the U.S. were we enjoyed octopus (best I've ever had, and I've had quite a bit) sushi, pork belly and filet. Service flowed well, the wines selected were well paired with each dish. We were with friends who are not foodies and they said it was a once in a lifetime experience.

Um… really not our thing! I treated my boyfriend to a meal out in Budapest and he liked the look of the menu so chose Uncensored. Everything sounded great so we expected excellent food with some kind of charming, even uplifting, audio visual experience to boot. There’s a big fuss about it all being unique and the first of its kind, yadda yadda, and all I can say is: I’m glad no one else is doing this! The food was okay. Some dishes were tasty but nothing - not one dish - was exciting. The Brazilian dessert, whilst looking pretty enough, was downright bland. I will ooh and aah continuously through a really good meal but that didn’t happen once here. What was good was the wine flight. We were introduced to some excellent wines that were paired very well with the food. We chose the half cocktails/half wine option, however, and were very surprised to find that one cocktail was, basically, a cup of tea! Now, a lot of waffle was given about the tea being exceptional (and I love my tea) but it really was not; it was very average. Even if it had been outstanding, we would not have expected it to replace an alcoholic beverage. It was an obvious swizz which we mentioned. To the staff’s credit, this was dealt with well and the wine pairing for that course offered instead. Staff were generally lovely so no disappointment there but I haven’t really gone into detail about the animated ambiance yet. In short, it was ridiculous. We really wanted to enjoy it. (We did, in a way - we were frequently stifling giggles - but we got the impression that it was highly irreverent to do so.) We quite liked the 3D panoramic of Budapest itself but quickly baulked at idea of reducing entire nationalities to a few adjectives. It is just us, or is a pretty poor animation of a can of coke and some fries bouncing on the surface of the moon, to represent America, extremely naff? Japan gets a bit of sushi, a vending machine and a guy raking a garden… Anyway, while the staff were very sweet but being paid to blather on about the average food between the cringeworthy short films, the whole thing quickly began to reek of pretension and farce. We were pleased to scrabble outside after paying A LOT of money, to breathe in the fresh air and laugh out loud. If you still have to try it for yourself, and end up feeling like we did, just know that you’re not alone.

Uncensored is not easy to find us you have to pass through another restaurant to gain access. It is entered through a secret door, disguised as a wine rack. The restaurant itself is just four bare walls surrounding around eight tables. The experience that was to follow was like no other that I have ever encountered and will remain in my memory for the rest of my life. There are around six main food courses, each from a different country or city. China, Japan, Budapest, Rio De Janeiro, Ireland and the USA were just some that I recall. With each course, is a 360 degree video on the walls of those countries. That is accompanied by music from the respective countries. Everyone had their mobiles out to video the amazing experience. You just wondered whatever next was going to appear on the walls. The food was Michelin star quality, served by two delightful waitresses. The waitresses appear through another secret door in the wall. My review just can't do it justice. It is the best dining experience I have ever had. It was the highlight to my visit to Budapest. I will definitely be back.

Not many restaurants in the world can offer such top level food and entertainment at the same time. The visuals paired with delicious gourmet plates and impeccable service is not something I’d expect in Budapest, but this place is mind blowing, definitely in the top10 restaurants in the word. What a gem we found, definitely coming back if in Budapest again.

Uncensored is a unique experience like I have never seen before … Large screens surround you 360 degrees. You are taken on a multi-sensory gastronomic and digital tour of 7 countries with wine pairings to match. It’s really extraordinary. I took a moment to sit back and watch the reaction of others. A smart phone was being held at every table with someone recording what they were seeing. Amazing. Give it a try if you’re in Budapest!

We came to celebrate our wedding anniversary with our friends and we had an absolutely amazing night. From entering the secret room till the last coctail everything was very entertaining. The food... OMG guys... it was one of the best tasting menus we have ever had! We have been to many places all around the world, but this is something very unique and outstanding. The visuals give you goose bumps, it really feels like you are having your dessert in Rio. Staff is funny and professional! Can’t wait to go again!

Outstanding and very personal service by Lajos (Louis) in an unique setup and concept. This place was beyond our expectations for our 10 year anniversary. It's intimate, different, takes you through a journey and the food is exquisite and varied. It might come as expensive for the location but if you look at it from an international perspective, nothing comes close!

My husband and I had a fantastic dinner experience at Uncensored. The multimedia-concept was exciting and enhanced the degustation menu. The food was tasty, and the creativity increased during the meal. We strongly recommend the wine pairing with fantastic wines that matched each dish perfectly. You should also try out the cool bar with amazing cocktails. The service was excellent from start to end. You could see that they are very passionate about what they are doing.
