I have known this restaurant practically from the day it opened in the 1960’s. So I went back with some friends on my recent trip to Budapest. Contrary to some other reviewers I found the place great in terms of food quality and price and the service was very personal. One of my friends requested the eggplant spread and when the waitress came back to say that they run out for the day, she also made the effort to check with the owner , who personally brought some extra over. Amazing! We also had a pizza, which was so delicious that we ordered a second one of the same. The restaurant is walking distance from Allee shopping Center and it is well worth the extra steps!

I visited this restaurant two times in this month. I appreciate low prices with kind personnel and good food quality. The portions were enough for an average man and I tasted both pizza and traditional Hungarian main course. The pizza was typically Central-European, smaller than 32, well baked with average quality ham and vegetables. I could it eat. The other main course - some stuffed chicken or turkey breast - was much better. It had good quality and I got a larger portion. Thanks, it was really good. Beet was also ok - pilsner urquell.

First time I was here ~20 years ago. This place not really changed. Good food...good drinks...good prices...good service. Give it a try :) :)

This is an excellent restaurant for a casual meal. The food is varied and superbly cooked. Very reasonably priced and is a hidden gem. Very busy at lunch as they offer a set menu which is perfectly proportioned, soup, main course and dessert.

Alba Regia pub (restaurant) has been around for decades now. It is a pub serving food, you can not expect miracles. Went there for a lunch last time and it was disappointing. The service was slow, and the food was very very average. The dessert that came with the fixed lunch menu was simply ugly and strange. The price is okay but food quality can vary.

Very good but small pizzas, Good beer. Their "bableves" (bean soup) is amazing!
