They were warmly welcomed us with pogácsa. At the end they've charged us for these welcome pogácsas. "Nothing is free in the world" were told by the restaurant manager. Uneatable and tough schnitzel.

This is by far the best food I have eaten whilst in Hungary. Friendly and inviting and the lamb was magnificent !! We enjoyed eating here soooo much that we visited for the final 3 evenings of our week long trip. Can’t speak highly enough of this restaurant or staff. Simply amazingly tasty food Will come back to Hungary even if it’s just to eat here again.

The food was amazing... the soup as a starter had so much flavour and the beef stew was amazing would deffernatly recommend this place the staff were very helpful and polite we also didn't have to wait around if we needed another drink 100% coming back!!!!

Had our best meal in Budapest here, the goulash soup was excellent as was the lamb dish my wife had and the chicken dish I had. Service was excellent by a very friendly and chatty older gentleman whom I presumed could have been the owner. Sold wine by the glass without question, even asked if she wanted a small glass or a large glass. Best meal by far and somewhere I will whole heartedly recommend, it is located within a mere 5 minute walk from the Erzsebet Hotel.
