Loved the Vietnamese twist to Hungarian dishes. Every item on the menu is delicious and perfectly flavoured. My absolute favourite dish was the lecsó with coriander topped with pork belly. The only desert on the menu was imaginative, well balanced but I could barely taste the passion fruit (maracuja). Seating for the six of us was a bit of a problem. Otherwise I would have given this place 5 stars. A "must try"!

My fav restaurant is Budapest. Asian with a twist. Spring roll, vietnamese gulash, agnus beef...all are absolutely delicious! Staff is friendly. Love love love

Beszallo is a cool place with a cool staff.
That vietnamese goulash is brilliant, i could eat every day. Angus tartare is also fantastic. I have never been disappointed here.

Beszallo is a well known place among foodies and people that love Far East cuisine. It is conveniently located in downtown Bp with the ease of accessibility via public transportation. The bistro has a casual atmosphere with a slight Asian design and a small open kitchen (there is a bigger one in the back for more complex cooking as I saw).
I gave a try to the papaya salad which you can't find at many places in Bp (lack of sourcing the green papaya) and the tastes/spices were balanced, however it lacked the hotness of the chili. It was quickly remedied by asking for some additional chili which was provided fast and happily. It's not cheap for the portion but it's a fault of the papaya and not the place I guess.
Second dish was "Chinese bolognese" as they call it, I think it was basically pork mapo tofu (w/o tofu) served on Udon pasta. For me this dish was perfect, 'al dente' & fresh udon with spicy & hot but balanced sauce/meat.
It's an easy recommendation and I'll return soon myself to try other dishes.

I was delighted by the appetizer Mango with salt and chilli with its amazing flavor combinations. The Vietnamese Gulash was tasty and fine, the tofu with celery cream was mediocre. The concept and attitude of the staff is really positive example in Budapest.

One of the most pleasant restaurant experiences I've ever had in Hungary! Staff was was kind and polite and the food was fantastic! Every day there are new dishes on the menu and all ingredients are sourced from top notch suppliers. One of the chefs Erdelyi Janos, came to my table to check if everything was alright, and he told me an array of interesting stories about the ingredients, the procedures and all the dishes! He was extremely polite and knowledgeable! Truly the person I would hire at my own restaurant! Every dish is prepared with uncommon and special procedures! I suggest you ask because the stories are actually interesting and cool! Thank you, Janos for the great experience! Definitely coming back in the future and I suggest everyone to pay a visit to this spot if you're in the area!

I came here with my daughter we had a nice lunch. My daughter had a papaja salad she really liked it our only recommendation is to put a bit more peanut on it. I had a a vietnamese goulash . It was a positive disappointment. We are originally from Budapest so we are use to the the normal goulash it was really good to try something new. We where disappointed with the bathroom they where not quit clean.
