Very good tapas and whine, also very good host. Nice place to sit outside underneath the trees. Inside it was very cozy, the interior looked like a authentic Spanish tapas bar. Definitively recommended!

Although the owner got my reservation date wrong, he was very friendly when I accidentally broke a wine glass trying to squeeze into the busy restaurant. He is a likeable character, speaks English and has a good sense of humour. Food, wine and atmosphere were all good.

This has become my favorite local. It’s cosy, and offers a good menu with consistently tasty authentic tapas dishes and a good wine selection. The vibe is lovely, the management and staff friendly, welcoming and attentive. They even speak English !

Me and my girlfriend visited here while on a short break in Budapest. This restaurant was the best tapas we have ever tasted. The whole night was excellent and the service was second to none. The restaurant is cosy and has a great atmosphere about the place. The barman even made my girlfriend a special cocktail which was delicious. Thank you

The Bontxo tapas restaurant is under new ownership and the atmosphere is most convivial. The host is warm, welcoming and worldly, the food is fresh and the produce is authentic basque, the wine is full-bodied aromatic and there is a variety from all of the Spanish regions. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening there and will certainly go again.

We have had here a very nice dinner made of tasty fresh ingredients. The majority of the food is fried but most probably the oil is changed often as it looked and tasted very fresh and nice. The only reason why I do not rate it excellent is becuase of the frying your whole outfit gets stinky inclusive your hair. All has to go in the washing machine thereafter.

We had good food, very good vines. It was a calm place. Goat cheese and patatas bravas tapas are excellent, but everything is good!
