Eaten here three times now. Not bad, but uneven. Let's break it down:
Round 1: Lunch menu, chicken fried in in breadcrumbs and cornflakes. Breading was scorched, meat was dry. Potato puree lumpy and bland. Not good. Next.
Round 2: Dinner, schnitzel with fries. Chicken was done perfectly - crisp outside, moist on the inside, flavourful. Splendid. If only others in the city could get it this right. Was delighted; the mediocrity of the earlier lunch vindicated.
Round 3: Dinner, burger with fries. The burger looks lovely; thick patty covered in molten cheese in tall bun with all the fixings. It's messy, too, in that o.g. gourmet burger messy kinda way. But yet it was strangely lacking in the flavor department, as if the mince is under-seasoned - or not seasoned at all. Maybe it's not charbroiled but griddled? Regardless, it's oddly underwhelming.
Hopefully they can work a fix for this, because at more than 2600 huf a pop this burger isn't cheap. However, the plate - burger, fries and slaw - is substantial. We didn't leave hungry.
Finally, gourmet burgers deserve quality beer. Heineken, Carlsberg and Miller, the beers on offer, just don't cut it. Kesaru mez or other IPA/APA brews pair far better with gourmet burgers.
Hopefully they can iron out the wrinkles because the place has lots of potential, and the people are very nice. Would love to see them succeed.

We had choosen cold soups and burger. The gaspacho with watermelone was fresh and delicious, the burgers were big and amazing. The staff were also kind we definitely will go back again. The price is a bit high ( burgers around 2700 HUF and the soups 1000HUF but it’s very good quality)
