We are two Malaysian Chinese. This place is popular with the lunch crowd. Might not get a seat at this time. Prompt and good service. Food was good. One of the better "breakfast sets" we had; tomato soup and salad were equally good. A very nice tall Indian gentleman(might be the owner!) helped take our orders in English. Sadly, the place is not open for dinner.

Callum's coffee shop is located inside the Downtown Marketplace (Belvárosi piac) in Hold street, just behind the US Embassy in Budapest and 5 minutes walk from the Parliament. While they cater mainly for officials working in the neighbouring office buildings, the location itself is worth visiting. You can get soup, some second dish and pizzas and you can quench your thirst as well. I had a great lentil soup and chicken breast on the grill for about 4 euros!

Fast, good quality for the price, nice service. Lentil soup and kebab were delicious. Pizza was not the best one but still pretty much eatable

The guys that run this place are very friendly. I visited this restaurant with a couple of friends of mine in the afternoon. I asked for a "tailor made" pizza and this wasn't a problem. When the food arrived it was simply sublime 👌.

After making a couple of laps around restaurants at the market, we settled on Callums. The Indian lunch special caught my husband's eye. Lentil soup, rice, a chicken dish, and naan for the equivalent of less than 6€. All were delicious and an incredible value for the price. The service was above and beyond as well. We weren't quite sure how it worked - whether you wait for your food or listen for your number or what. The staff might have sensed our uncertainty and offered to bring us out our food. They came back and cleared the table as well, though we later saw the station to bus your dishes yourself. Thanks for making it so easy on us!

Allan at Cullum's prepared awesome pizza for us. The beer was cold and the pizza was crispy and hot. This South African cooks I mean pizza pie.

Had lunch here 2 days into our trip. The food was very good. Everything was made freshly as you ordered it. Everything was full of flavour. Even the coffee and homemade lemonade were very very good. The prices were very reasonable which made it all great value for your money. We ended up having lunch here everyday for the rest of our trip. The Caesar salad was extremely good and hubby said he really enjoyed the breakfast. The freshly made pizzas were delicious, a lot better than the pizzas I had in Venice recently. Lemon cheesecake was yummy. Would highly recommend Callum's Kavehaz to friends and family and would go there again next time I'm in Budapest. It's well worth a visit, you won't be disappointed.

I have come to use the restaurant more often. The quality of totally fresh hand made food, and the trial of new and refreshed menus is staggering. The size of the meals are really filling and all for a good price. Well worth a visit. I loved his home made pasta and the the cheese cake.

The food, especially the homemade lemonade and breakfast plate, was absolutely amazing. The service was phenomenal & server spoke great English. I would highly recommend for a relaxed breakfast/ lunch!

Visiting from Los Angeles on a very hot Summer day. The lemonade with fresh fruit was so refreshing, along with the artisan pizza with a thin, crispy crust. Then we tried the cold, blueberry soup which was laced with sour cream. Amazingly original! This was followed by delicious Panna Cotta for dessert and espresso. What a great meal! They also offer Hungarian specialties such as Chicken Paprika, and have a video screen showcasing pictures of menu items. The owner, Allan, and his team all speak English and are very friendly and helpful. I told him that a restaurant like his, with a reasonable and delicious menu, would be very popular in California!

For me, the quality of food is very important. I found Callums kávéházban . Attentive service in a pleasant atmosphere. I love my favorite margarita pizza, pana cotta and delicious cappuccino. Highly recommend it to everyone who loves delicious, fresh, tasty quallity food wth low price.
