This place is simply amazing.  - The service was extremely quick even when we visited it on a simple Tuesday night - The decoration is so well detailed and authentic that it is hard to describe  - What is also hard to describe: the food.Far from anything that I have eaten before as a middle eastern food. Exotic and delicious!  - The portions are so large that it was a bit much for a hungry adult. But we didn't leave a single bite :) Highly recommended!

The restaurant was amazing. I visited it with my husband, and we ordered starter, main dish, dessert, and dough (a special yoghurt-based drink). Everything was delicious. As a vegetarian I also could find tasty dishes without meat. The waiter is very nice and friendly. I really recommend this place to everyone who wants to try the Middle-Eastern cuisine.

We loved this place so much that we visited it 2 days in a row (considering to go a 3rd time). The food is amazing, authentic, tasty, delicious, you can never have enough. Try anything from the menu, you won't be disappointed. The service is very good as well, people are nice and hard working. Definitely a must go if you want to try an authentic experience.

Fantastic service, delicious and authentic Persian food. Such a lovely surprise to find this in Budapest. We were made to feel extremely welcome and the food was world class.

We love Middle Eastern/Mediterranean food - Lebanese, Greek, Turkish, Israeli, Yemeni - but could not remember ever trying Persian/Iranian food. We are very glad that we stopped by - we all loved our Kebab dinners. The range of choices was great and while similar to other Kebabs we also got the unique style of the Persian food. The restaurant did not have A/C on this night, which was on the edge of the European heat wave, and the service was a bit slow which is why we only gave 4 stars.

It is not so easy to find the place, and it is a bit dark inside. It is common to find foreigners there. Their food is tasty, they have several options for kebab meat, and also for vegetarians.

I was in Budapest for a city break with my daughter this week, we visited Darband Restaurant every single day and enjoyed the Iranian Chelokabab, the food was delicious, staff were friendly and the restaurant was open all day which was helpful when planning our day. Darband is in a central location in Budapest only five minute walk from the Parliament with good tram and bus routes. I would highly recommend this restaurant and would visit again the next time we are in Budapest.

We had lunch in the beautiful restaurant. All the dishes are really good, cooked accordingly to the Iranian tradition, even better. the staff is really nice and the price really good. I do absolutely suggest it!

I loved it ,proper kebab and kofta. Very good quality and very good service. The food took its time as it is freshly prepared. We went 3 times,and we keep trying new items from the menu. Highly recommended.

If you interested about the authentic Persian food and do not miss the alcohol but prefer a simple friendly place go there in Budapest. Guaranteed you will not be disappointed. Taste the salads and the special sisliks, or try their special nonalcoholic drinks!

If you are iranian, this place will give a really good feeling when you see it. It gets even better when you step in, the waitress is gorgeous, she was really nice and funny. So far every thing is good so why 3/5? That goes down to the quality. I ordered fesenjun and it was below normal. It also felt stale and reheated. A single whole piece of garlic pickle was 1000ft which is way too much. My cousin ordered kebab kubideh and he was content with his choice. The lemonade was nothing special. Overall, this is a very normal persian restaurant at best, so if you didn't like it, dont put it on persian cuisine, put it on this particular restaurant. If you are iranian though, it is worth a visit just for the sake of the memory. But dont order the fesenjun!
