Great spot for a local lunch in lovely surroundings.

Amazing cocktails and staff who agreed to all our special requests to make sure we had the best evening. Great Gulasch and bearnaise sauce! Reasonable prices.

Don't miss the cocktails! I'm a big fan of mixology, and these were some of the best I've had anywhere in the world. Surprising from a hotel restaurant!
Everything about our dinner here was fantastic. Super nice wait staff that speaks great English. The wine menu was excellent (all Hungarian). Delicious food, very reasonably priced. Super comfy seats!

We managed to get a table without booking which was great. The food was very nice and nothing too much trouble from the staff!

We had meat and salmon. Both were delicious. We recommend. It was pricey though. We liked the food very much.

Food was amazing. I had the salmon, which was cooked to perfection. Hubby had the tomahawk steak, which was amazing. Wine choices are extensive. Great service, great ambiance. Highly recommend

Stylish restaurant, great for a couples meal with a Calm atmosphere.
We both ordered the fillet steak with fries and roasted vegetables to share with a pepper and a red wine sauce.
Would definitely return and we have already been asked by many people that viewed our photos where this restaurant is.

Writing this a bit late as I was looking back on my photos and it prompted me. The service was excellent, my boyfriend and I stumbled across the restaurant while out in Budapest, as soon as we walked in we were seated and handed menus. We were then given water, a brioche roll and some paprika spread (which I would love the recipe to). This truly surprised us as we are not used to this where we are from. My stomach was off so I stuck with what I know wont upset it so steak it was, got chips aswell and a homemade lemonade. The food was amazing and quickly arrived at the table. our waiter was topping up our water everytime he passed and saw our glasses empty which again I thought added to the amazing service as I was not used to it. Overall for everything included the bill came to around £60 which is average for a meal out for the both of us. The experience made us come back for a second time on our short 4 day trip it was that good. Will definitely come again if I'm ever back in budapest

Monday evening and we enter the Ritz-Carlton restaurant. Front pr girls are very polite. Menu is very interesting, local food modernized and traditional recipes like mangalica are available. Coctails are very tasty and particulary lime, ginger and cucumber one is very fresh! Nikos is the barman, he is greek from thessaloniki that lives in hungary. We talk and helps us a lot! Prices are normal, 4 main courses, 2 appetizers, 1 salad, 4 coctails in total 100 euro for four persons. Thank you for these nice time we spent! Definitely recommended.

This restaurant is within the Ritz Hotel itself which when I first heard I was a bit put off as I imagined it a bit stuffy and quiet with no atmosphere. How wrong I was. Really nice, friendly welcoming staff in a very relaxed pleasant environment. Nice clean tidy restaurant with big windows allowing you to people watch the busy street outside as you had your dinner. The Hungarian goulash soup was amazing as was my Hungarian lamb main course. Coupled with some excellent beers this place is definitely worth a visit.

Visited for early evening meal and not at all busy. Nice setting and ambience. Drinks were very good but went down hill when partner’s filet came out seriously undercooked for a medium. Called the waiter and brought back to the kitchen. Time passed. I was finished my meal before anyone came back to us and my plate was removed! So much for dining together.
When it came back it was perfectly cooked. Bit of a joke made of giving me more wine (our own) while I waited.
No attempt of a gesture of goodwill to acknowledge that this had not gone to plan - yes of course it happens, but do something small to make up for it. Overall it was a bit of a flat experience.

We had lunch here and the service was very good. Lovely and airy inside and very sunny and an outside terrace too.
Beautiful light and crisp rose wine. Goulash soup was tasty and so too was the chicken club sandwich was excellent. The staff were very friendly and hospitable.

PLUS
1. Beautiful environment. Earthy colours and rustic elements create the ideal scenery for an upgrade casual dinner.
2. Very nice brioche - as amuse bouche - accompanied by butter and dip.
3. Good prices for all starters, main dishes and desserts.
4. Nice presentation of food.
5. Good portions
6. Excellent wine list
BIG PLUS
1. The kindest and most smiley waiters I have met at my 14 day gastro tour at the top restaurants in Budapest.
MINUS
1. Unsalted French fried potatoes that were chosen by us to accompany the Black Angus burgers.
2. We have ordered two portions of potatoes. Only one came. We asked for the second, but on the bill we were charged 3 portions.
3. Butter and dip were removed from our table when our dishes came, in spite of the fact that we still had a piece of brioche in our bread dishes.
4. We were served our desert on a table full of bread crumbs and food leftovers because the table wasn't cleaned before desert.
5. We have finished our beer and water from the very first minutes. Never been asked for refilling.
BIG MINUS
1. SOS - The metal pan that the trout was served smelled iron. This bad odour affected the taste of the trout and destroyed our palette. These pans should be replaced because they lost their coating and may be harmful for people's health.
