The food and drinks were excellent - always fresh and in high quality. The owner were extremely friendly. Every day of our stay in Budapast we ate breakfast or lunch at Julien Boulangerie et Patisserie. We highly recommend the cafe!

We visited Julien in December and found in by accident in growing area of Budapest. We had great breakfast in there with variety of sweet and salty selections. All the food was extremely tasty and special greetings to a cakes they had to offer. Gluten-free sacher cake was the best I have ever had. Super friendly and helpfull staff really made sure that we have everything we need and even more. Highly recommended!

This nicely designed coffee shop is offering a large choice of bakery and sweets products,unique coffe and excellent tea as well. You can find from breakfast all other tipe of meals and you can enjoy to eat all other during the day, You can enjoy cultral events, too. "Parisian feeling"! A real pearl of Budapest in XIII. district! Congrats and many thanks to Gabi (the owner) and friendly staff!

We have found this little family owned coffee shop a couple of months ago and have simply felt in love with it. Since that time, we are regulars here. Coffee & French & Italian pastries are superb. There are exhibitions of local artists’ paintings and photos time to time. You must try the cakes too! :)

Coming from France, I had an amazing breakfast here. A coffee shop that easily competes with the french coffee shops...

We visited Julien on our second day in Budapest for breakfast and the staff was lovely and all the French style food was authentic and delicious. Apprently they also do home-made lunch. Highly recommended
