Amazing ramen, also sets are available - so you can try a bit of everything. Everything was delicious 😋 And on top of that - we paid less than for two coffees and sandwiches in Starbucks 😍

They have authentic Japanese hot foods (it's not a sushi bar) & the best udon soups in the city (though all the noodle dishes are delicious and worth a try.) Service is polite and friendly. Cash only.

Authentic place, my Japanese friends also come here to eat and they also say that you can have a real Japanese lunch or dinner here. Perfect quality with paying attention to the details. Recommended!

Komachi is about stomach-warming dishes, mostly made with homemade udon – suudon (udon soup), sarada udon (udon salad), zaru udon (cold udon on woodplate), karee udon (curry-based), and ankake udon.
This restaurant was recommended by an expert tourist guide living in Budapest so I had very high expectation waiting for a real authentic place. Having a big company, we went for ramen, pork donburi, a mixed plate with different fried meals and also some gyoza. While the ramen was big, but tastless, gyoza was and donburi meat was also dry. The fried dishes were too fatty. We were also disappointed with the services. Although it seems to be cheaper than some other japanese restaurants in Budapest, but you are receiving much less value than in others. Worth to know, that cash payment only. As I have been to Japan many times and gained a lot of gastronomic experience there, I can assure that this restaurant is very far from the high japanese gastronomic standards. I would not recommend to anyone.

Komachi is my favorite place to go for a nice warm ramen. It tastes very authentic and they have very fine noodles.
The place is small and cozy and the staff is really helpful.
In peak times you might have to wait a little bit, because they do not take reservations but it is well worth the time!

Every year we come back to eat something Japanish in the restaurant. Unfortunately, we experianced significant quality (spiecies, environment) decresing year after year. Previously, the restaurant was unique but nowadays it is a simple restaurant. In spite the fact, it is still a good japanish restaurant.

The food was very tasty, the place clean and the staff was friendly.
I recommend the matcha icecream as well if you crave for something sweet but the rest of the food is quite enough. I am not a knowledgeable of ramen but I wish they had ramen with naruto, as I really like it.
