Went in looking for a taste of the local food. The goulash tasted great, but the wild beef really did it for me. Lovely presentation and matching taste and flavor. Good ambiance and friendly service.Very pleasant surprise and great comfort food. Did no try any desserts.

Delicious Hungarian food. Very tasty and prices are reasonable. When we had our lunch, there were few people and place is not crowded. We love the pork knuckle, home made sausage and beef ghoulash soup.

Small authentic Hungarian Restaurant. Old, wooden interior. Nearly all of the customers appeared to be locals. I had the Ghoulash soup which was very good. Budget pricing.

We stopped here for a late lunch before we had to head back to the airport and were really pleased we did.
My husband enjoyed the Hungarian goulash soup in tasty bread roll and my chicken Asian noodles were delicious. The waiter was friendly too.
Just a shame we didn’t find this earlier during our stay!

Food was very tasty, juicy burger. Service a little slow, especially at the end, but nothing that would bother the normal person too much.

BEST cheeseburger I have ever tried in my life. The meat is fantastic. My wife choise was a fish and the result is the same. 5☆ place

The food served is not high cuisine but is good quality pub food and good-sized portions as well (which is exactly what we want a lot of the time). The staff were helpful and friendly and we enjoyed our meals here. If you like sport on the big screen, this is a good place to come and you can eat on the pavement outside if you prefer that.

Enjoyed great service and authentic local food. Salads and pig knuckle were fabulous. Local wine is good with menu items. Takler Bikaver is a good table wine. Full bar. Inside seating as well.

We were glad of this place as we wandered around this busy area. The staff are nice and friendly, hearty meals at a good price. You can eat local specialities or more international things. I would recommend their traditional fayre.

We came to this restaurant by mistake and we loved it.
On our last day in Budapest, we wanted to go to a highly rated restaurant near our hotel Marmara, but then we walked into this restaurant. It looked like a pub, but we did not walk out because our host was very nice. We ordered pork and hake. Nearly half of an hour later, the food came out was one of our only few greatest meal during our 20 day trip in Eastern Europe. My pork shank was perfectly cooked and so elegantly blended with complex sauce on a bed of rich, flavorful potatoe. My wife’s deep fried hake was beautifully crispy but so moist inside. What a wonderful treat on the last day of trip. The host and the waitress were both very friendly.

We went there for lunch. It is not a fancy place, but the food is good and service is friendly. We had fish'n'chips and schnitzel. Both were quite good and the size of the servings were huge. All in all, it's a nice place to visit for lunch.

This restau also doubles as the brekafast area of the adjacent hotel.
I went in as I was passing it and was hungry. I got the wings. They're a good portion, fried in two different ways, plus chips, celery sticks and a dip. They were all good.
The staff are polite and attentive.
As I was leaving, the girls at the table next to me got their ribs order, which looked massive!

Happened upon this place whilst walking through the city with my partner and we both agree that the food was amazing. The Goulash that I had was unbelievable although cutting up and adding two red chillis made it far more spicy than it should be, however, my ineptitude aside I wpuld highly recommend a meal here.
