Good selection of vegetarian dishes. Not cheap, but worths every forints/euros. A nice touch: there is a jug of fresh water on every table.

Excellent food, very kind service. This restaurant is a true gem. Small, but authentic atmosphere. The whole family enjoyed it, we Will definitely come back.

The super kind and helpful staff and the calm inviting atmosphere perfectly complement the divine home-made food.

Go there with an open mind. The deco and atmosphere lacks ambience however the food is closest thing to original Pakistani cuisine. This is a family run restaurant and food is cooked by a Pakistani female cook. Food is cooked to order not like other Asian restaurants where sauces are pre cooked and meet/veg added according to the order. Its slightly out of city centre but not hard to get to. I would definitely recommend it.

From New Zealand to...a gem. This restaurant is well-worth a visit.
The food was extremely tasty with the value being perfect. Prices were decent which was a pleasant surprise (the price for one substantial meal, side dish of rice, coke and a coffee was equivalent to £8/€9).
Service was kind, friendly and informative (being given a time frame of when the food would be ready which turned out to be exact) and non-intrusive. At my table, we selected meat and vegetarian dishes which we we happy with (the vegetarian dish looked and tasted better than the usual fare in other restaurants). Presentation of said dishes was elegant.
The atmosphere was peaceful and calm. Others have complained about the small seating area but this is a charm; it was intimate and cosy. I can't see that as a problem.
Hidden away, make it a place to experience for the real touch of Pakistani dishes.

It was a pleasant surprise to see a south Asian restaurant in this mainly residential Budapest district. It is a small place with only about 6 tables. The room can prbably hold 20 people. At the time we visited, two other tables were occupied which was a good sign. Price was reasonable. Decor was decent altho’ the room temp was warm as the A/C didn’t seem to be working. A fan was blowing in the background tho.’ The chef/owner came to take our order. He was nice and accomodating with our requests. I had a lamb dish and my husband a beef dish. It was OK but we thought it could be better.
Somehow it was missing in presentation and more flavor. I can give it another try but maybe there are other south Asian restaurants around.

Although this restaurant is a bit out the way from the city centre, it is very worth visiting. It is small and cosy and the food is extremely flavoursome and delicious, I ate the best tikka masala I have ever had! Also, the owner of the restaurant is a very kind man with some incredible stories!

I am Malaysian and i really particular on food which as a muslim, we are obliged to find and eat halal food. And the taste of the food is better than turkish dishes which i've tasted before especially briyani chicken. All food will be prepared fresh when we place the order. Sad things is they dont accept card and 4km from intercontinental hotel. Walked there for 45 mins which i suggest u take taxi around 1900hut per trip. Overall i feel satisfied

I have never had such delicious Nihari, shami kebabs and naan outside my mothers kitchen! It has a wonderfully homely atmosphere, I think it is someones front room actually! I loved it but if this is not your thing then go somewhere fancier but I can guarantee you won't get the same standard of food.

I visited this restaurant during my trip to budapest recently and it was pleasant! The location is a bit out of the tourist area but that the food is all worth the effort. The vegetable pakoras and the dips were delicious! The Nans were fluffy, the Chicken Karahi was nice and the Yellow Dhal is cooked using traditional technique which elevated the spices. The friendly owner cooked the food and served us himself. We ordered Chicken Briyani for takeaway and i regretted for only having one serving as I wanted more. Strongly recommended to those who love authentic, halal Pakistani food.

A very new nice family running Pakistan restaurant in Budapest. I visited this restaurant with family during our stay and found it very tasty food. We feel like we are eating at our home since the owner and his family were very kind in nature and We tried almost all dishes including chicken biryani, and chicken Karai was very tasty. They have vegetable option also which was also delicious. I highly recommend it and must try.

don't expect glamour. We were there on our own. The place was cosy and super authentic and unpretentious. The food was excellent. No fuss and great value. You got the feeling that the owner cooked, served and was the main man... Didn't matter i have found a new bangla buffet this side of the river.

The restaurant is small with the capacity of maximum 20 pax, china and cutlery are basic, this all doesn't matter, because the food taste is outstanding, it is real Mughal food, the host is very accommodating and hospitable, I strongly recommend this restaurant for Budapest visitors.

We went here as the wife is learning Urdu and she wanted to speak some.
From the outside it looks nothing special. When you walk in, it is exactly that.
Inlay about 10 tables in the place. Sparsely set out and we had to take napkins off another table as our one did not have any.
Not the cleanest, but not the dirtiest either.
The menu is quite large with a lit to choose from, including beef dishes.
We started with some papadams which were good with them mixed sauces to go with them.
We had a mix of mains, Basmati rice along with saag paneer, chicken qourma and a beef special for me. The food was surprisingly good. Came in little bowls and looking at it you would think that it's not enough however it was, taking into account the nan breads as well.
Only saw two staff, and they took care of us. Service was a bit slow, even for the drinks, but were we're happy with the food in general.
