New York Bagel

Always good to stop here. Usually I pick up 5+1 bagel for the family (+1 for free) and some sweeties. There are some really nice apple pie of other more Hungarian poppyseed cakes.

service is quite fast and kind, coffee tastes mild and the bagel itself is just good. Toppings are a bit meh, but hey, there's pizza bagel, too. Go, grab one!

I've visited New York Bagel a few times while I was in Budapest and yeah, the few bagels that I tried out there were fine. They're not going to blow you away but if you're passing by the area, definitely grab one for yourself to compliment the coffee or tea.

Go classic with cream cheese and wholemeal. Most similar bagel to in New York that I’ve found. Huge portion of cream cheese. Beats other ones in the city for sure.

It is nice to have bagels in this district and the bagel itself is nice, but meet and cheese is max. average (looks like it is from Aldi or Tesco) therefore i think it is a bit overpriced - like subway. Still selection is wide and you can build your own bagel as well.

They are making very good quality bagels (which baked on the spot every day), and they are using very good quality ingredients. The feeling is absolutely American they have a wide range selection of Dr. Peper soda and have deserts as well. Serc Definitely worth a try.

I visited this place shortly after it opened. I quite liked the wide range of selections they offer: not only when it comes down to toppings but as well for various types of bagels. The staff was very friendly and professional and you could hear a New York radio channel in the background, all adding their part to a genuine East Coast feel. So should you wanna have a breakfast NY-style: it's the place to be. (my visit was actually in 2015 if I remember well, but I couldn't select that date)

I love breakfast. This place is at Vaci street, so parking is not easy even in morning.. The food we ordered was tasty and we got the bagels quickly. Staff is nice and kind. You can eat your sandwiches in the tiny New York Bagel, but there is no place to sit, only standing.. My coffee was great. I think this place is expensive, but the cream cheese tastes so good. Recommended.

I stopped in for a late breakfast and ordered two lochs and cream cheese bagels; one on a plain bagel and the other on a spicy seed bagel. The quality of the bagel was great. The spicy one was interesting, though not one I would order again. Not because of the spice, I love spicy food and hot sauces. But because it just didn't work so well on a bagel. But the plain lochs and cream cheese bagel was really good. One other thing - I was at the location near Kalvin tér, not on Vaci. Same stuff, just making sure the review is clear. Service was great! Seating very limited, but street food is better...well...walking around :) If you're craving a bagel around town, it's a good spot.

The New York bagel is the best bagel place in Budapest. The food is very delicious and tasty. I tried the Manhattan bagel sandwich which was fantastic :) The staff is knowledgeable. And at last but not least the coffe was great.

This bagel place is on the corner of Váci út and Csángó utca. It is a relatively small joint with no sitting options. I have opted for a tuna melt bagel and put extra tomato and caper in it. It took about roughly 10 minutes until I had the bagel in my hand. The price was a bit shocking as I have paid 970 HUF. But the bagel was very tasty, filling and good. If you are in a rush and want to have a filling sandwich and you do not want a burger, try New York Bagel !
