We've had a company team dinner here and have been very satisfied. The food, the drinks were all good, the waiters were friendly. We have been here a few times but will come back again definitely.

Fantastic choice of beers! More then 150 different Belgian beers! Coming from Belgium we know what is good and this is excellent. Several beers are cheaper here then at home!

Bier:10/10, food 4/10, service 8/10, overall:8/10 and the high overall rating is due to the fact that you come here for the biers anyway. Try TRIPEL KARMELIET

This is a small, cozy restaurant close to the Grand palace grounds on the Buda side. It's a few minutes walk from the roundabout near the suspension bridge. They have tables on the ground and first floor. While it was almost full, fortunately, we didn't have to wait to get a table.
The Goulash was absolutely great. The soup was thick and went well with the bread. The meat was also very tender. It was really tasty. We have found some other places tend to make it a little watery and the meat having a bit of a gamey flavour. So the Goulash is a must have here. The chicken salad had too much mayo or
something which made it a little sweet.
They say they dont allow sharing of plates, and ask you to request for a small portion, but they allowed us to share a salad as they did not have small portions. Prices are very reasonable too. Two small bowls of Goulash, a plate of salad and 2 glasses of good wine came to about Euro 15. I suggest go for the large bowl of Goulash even if not very hungry, You won't regret it.

I would not call it a restaurant, even though you order dishes and waiters bring them – the level of dishes and service is like in a university canteen. The dishes are certainly better than fast-food, but do not reach the expectations from a restaurant. We did not see a single smile on the face of personnel until the moment we were leaving – then one of the waiters offered a smile to our kids. They don't make reservations, and I've got a feeling they don't speak English well, at least not over the phone. To finish on a positive note: this place has very good location at the bottom of the Buda hill on Danube side, and it is twice cheaper than standard restaurants – this makes it a very attractive stop-point after a walk on the Buda hill.

We thankfully stumbled across this restaurant while looking for something non-touristy for lunch. Had to wait about 10 minutes for a table, but it was well worth it. The server (I can’t recall his name) was terrific and gracious. The food was authentic Hungarian just like my mom used to make. Lunch for 2 with a beer & tip was about $20. Fantastic value! Highly recommended!

Very nice restaurant a few meters away from the stunning Chains Bridge. The typical Hungarian food is delicious and the staff is very friendly and polite. Also the prices are incredibly low. I’ve been to many restaurants in Budapest but definitely this is the one that I recommend.

The food was very tasty! We had 3 meal dinner - Goulash and Dobosz cake were the best. The food is tasty and leaves you with the full stomach. The service was also good. Why one star less? The card machine was not working and we should have been informed about it in advance. After delicious food we have spent 20 min running around to find ATM. Recomendable if you have a cash!
