The restaurant may not look fancy but the food is fantastic alongside warm service and very reasonable prices.

My friends and I patronized this Vietnamese eatery a few times during our stay in Budapest. Staff are friendly and attentive. Pho is delicious especially the beef. Prices are reasonable.

We came here several times and everything we ordered was excellent. (it’s around the corner from Opera Gardens Hotel). My husband and I travel for months at a time, and we’re grateful for healthy, quality places like this. The red wine was very good as well. The restaurant is impeccable and comfortable - even the wine & water glasses were so clean, they sparkled. It’s family owned and run, and the young man who waited on us was professional and friendly, very intelligent and spoke a few languages, including Hungarian and Vietnamese. His English is superb. When in Budapest, we recommend Vietnamese cuisine at Tay Ho.

Very good and underestimated vietnamese restaurant. It’s a bit hidden, located not far from the Opera. Service is fast, they are very nice and the pho is delicious. Prices are acceptable. Recommended.

There were 5 of us for lunch. We had spring rolls and shrimp chips to start. four of us had the pho and two had duck. Everything was excellent. I felt the flavor of the spring rolls and pho was improved compared to our previous visit which was excellent then. The price is very reasonable for a restaurant in the center of the city with this quality. I highly recommend it.

Our Pho soup was decent and the Pho Xao was excellent. Steamed and fried dumplings were delicious, breaded shrimp also. Tea was really good. Tapioca was good, fried bananas were delicious.
Service was pleasant but the order was messed up a bit in part because they didn’t understand our English well (and we understand why, we speak too fast).
We had 4 appetizers, 4 entrees, 2 juices, 2 beers, 2 teas and a tea for 58 euros .... very worth it !

The pho and my sao are delicious, we were 8 people on a family trip. Their my sao is well made, we are Vietnamese and we actually found this restaurant serving authentic food that tastes like Vietnam. The place seems a little cold but trust me, we really had a good time and you won’t be disappointed (look at the picture there wasn’t any waste)
I highly recommend this restaurant !

This was a great find near our hotel and just what was needed after a cold damp day. I had the Pho, another friend had the Pad Thai and we shared fresh spring rolls. Service was good and the price was very reasonable. If I lived in Budapest, this would be a place to come too often.

We shared a plate of spring rolls for the three of us and they are wonderful and very crunchy. The pho is also excellent. It is reasonably priced and very tasty.

Good value and well-priced Vietnamese/Chinese food. Generous servings and good service. We had some nice rice dishes.....chicken with mushrooms and chicken with cashews. Also breaded chicken and rice and duck with rice. Not sure if the food was authentically Vietnamese however.....tasty though!

Had the Hanoi style pho. The broth had just the right type of beefy goodness you should expect from the dish. Friendly staff.

We were celebrating a birthday with a few colleagues. It was fascinating! The best Phô I've ever eaten.
We've tried several dishes and wasn't disappointed in any of them.
If you want to drink a bit, feel free to ask the waiters for some shots (they aren't on the menu). We even tasted some vietnamese vodka! It was awesome, if you have the chance make sure you give it a shot!

After travelling for 2 months in Europe, we decided to switch to Oriental Food instead.
As the restaurant is just beside our apartment, we decided to give it a try.
We ordered pho beef soup, fried rice, pork fried dumpling, spring rolls and 2 drinks for a price of 26.55 Euro which is very consider reasonable.
The food is delicious, especially the fried dumpling.
Staff is very friendly and attentive. Serving of food and billing are very fast.

My family accidentally went through this restaurant in the afternoon, we ordered 4 “pho bo” (beef noodle) and we didn’t expect much about the authenticity. But when we ate, it was about 80% of “Hanoi pho”, the price is acceptable, around 3.5 eu for big bowl, 2.5 for normal one. Must try if you are fed up with Western food

Food was genuine, delicious and very generous portions,
This place is a Must TRY...
Recommended for an unpretentious occasion.

This place was close to my hostel so I ate here twice because it was so yummy. You can sit outside under umbrellas or inside. The waiter was such a nice guy and very attentive. The food was amazing and they had a great drinks menu as well!! The food does not take long to come out.

Based on the good reviews I expected good pho. Like really good pho.
So it looks good, but the rice noodles and the base of the pho tastes very weird. Believe me I have eaten many in my life...
It is not good pho.
The fried rice with chicken was better, but the chicken meat was lumpy...
We waited very long for bad food. And the price range is quite high comparing to the all in all service, that we got.
I am so sorry but it is not the real authentic in despite of the fact that the owners are Vietnamese.

Close to the Bliss Wellness Hotel where we stayed. Relaxed environment, good service and the food was tops. We were looking for something light and I can certainly recommend the steamed dumplings, summer rolls and the Spring onion and chicken pho soup. Delicious!

We got there by accident. We lived in the neighborhood (Lazar utca).
The menu is easy to understand (with pictures). The prices are cheap. We paid 6300 (20€) for 2 (2 Pho soups, spring rolls, dumplings, tapioca pudding, 2 lichee juices). The stuff is Vietnamese, so the food is made by locals.
The waitress understand different languages, including English.
Everything was very tasty, so I highly recommend this restaurant)
I think such restaurant deserves more attention and higher rating on TripAdvisor.

A new restaurant which deserves to become very succesful although when we visited on 9th April 2019 they had not yet sorted out taking card payments so we paid in cash (euros). We were initially concerned that there were not more diners but we need not have worried. Once they get the reputation that they deserve, the restaurant will soon become busy. Our meals were generously proportioned but light and full of flavour. Excellent value too.

we were happy to discover this new Vietnamese place in our neighboorhood. On a smaller street, right behind the Opera. The food and service were great, and the athmosphere was nice too. Highly recommend it.
