A very good tandoori place, with reasonable pricing. From 11 to 5 they have menü, you can mix your own from a wide range offer, even vegan. Shahi Paneer is sweet, my son all time favourite

Some of the best naans in Budapest. Insider tip: one of the only restaurants in Budapest serving Nepali momos (dumplings) & one plate is enough for two people. Great curries too. Highly recommended!

They have a lunch menu consisting of soup plus main dish for 1190 HUF. Whatever you chose, do not miss out on the naan as a side dish! Simply delicious.

Really good restaurant! The naan bread is phenomenal, mango curry is great. Make sure you come during workdays for the daily offer, otherwise is not that cheap place.

Butter naan with mango lassi is a perfect dinner after yoga! This tipical bread is both crunchy and soft. They have delivery bit it's better to enjoy the nice interior!
What a find! Do not be deceived by appearances! The food was outstanding. We had chicken pakoras, Nasi Goreng and chicken Tamil which was so delicious and with a beautiful thin naan. Without doubt the best meal of our Budapest trip

We love Indian food but this was the best we had ever had. Of our 6 nights in Budapest we ate here on 3 of them! Staff very friendly and prices are very reasonable.

The looks of the place might be misleading, it looks like cheap fast food, but actually its one of the best indian food you can get in town! Order a la carte, the daily menu is usually lower class stuff.

My favourite Indian place in Budapest. Big portions, friendly staff and home feeling. Highly recommended.

It never disappoint me, especially the garlic soup is to die for. if its possible I am willing to have my meals here everyday from morning to evening. If anything needs improving I think only the inside needs a little bit of airing. But 200/100 for our Chef (and the lovely service). I wonder what he himself has for dinners, though, since his cooking is so fine.

Based on the reviews the place is new. I think we came here on the very first warm days in Budapest before summer and it was very warm inside (you guys should invest some money into air conditioning before you get bad reviews). After waiting for food (about 20 mintues which was weird cause it was nobody inside-but I always said... if you want to eat good food you need to wait) we got huge portion of food. Additionally we ordered nan bread which must to. Honestly we couldn't finish the food. Im not sure how much hungry you need to be. The place looks "cheap", and the name is nothing original, especially the "express" which makes it sound like indian mcdonald but somehow I think the place is new and I like it so here it 5 stars. Hope owners will do few adjustments to make it better in the future.

This is our local Indian restaurant, we have been here and ordered food from here more than 10 times.
The food is excellent and prices are reasonable: main + side = 2500HUF.
They offer a lunch menu for 1300HUF which is a bargain for a soup, a main and a side.
The only downside of the place is the interior which is not to my liking.
Final advice: always order a naan :)

I have been here a few times and the food never ceases to amaze me. I am certain that they serve the best naan bread in Budapest, always freshly made, hot and with an amazing taste. Their momos are also top notch and currys are also deep in flavor and certainly will warm you through. Have a chilled mango lassi as well to have an authentic finish to an indian/nepalese food experience, you will not be disappointed.
The inside of the restaurant is nothing special, but it more than makes up for its lack of fanciness with the food!

Indian food offering with a fusion favour. Had a chicken tikka masala with paneer naan that was quite ok but not as spicy as expected.
Service unfortunately was not good, when we finished the appetizer they did not remove the dishes but we had to juggle for the table space with the new dishes served.

The restaurant is very nice, the food is amazing, the prices are a little bit expensive, and the air is a little bit smogy. But I will go back to have Indian lunch. The Naan is wonderful, everybody must taste it.

The chef-owner of this restaurant cooks very delicous and authentic dishes. He is very passionate about his food. Every time I go there to Budapest I like to go to this place. Nothing fancy about the interior.
The food however is heaven. The Nasi- and Bami goreng are to die for. Also the Biryani chicken he made is so tasty and very good. His freshly grilled chicken is so tender and taste very very good. Not to mention his lamb curry.
This guy is an Genius in the kitchen. He surprises me every single time i went there. Just Phenomenal.
If you go there, please don't forget to ask for the lassi. Just great.
