Hangulatos,kényelmes, szép hely. A jegeskávé és a fagylalt finom volt. A hazikrémes kicsit édesebb a vártnál.

It is one of the oldest cakehouse of the country, the taste of the desserts here are quite like "home-made" Hungarian sweets. It is worth a try when at Pécs, it has a nice, peaceful atmosphere.

Vibe: 5/5. The interior is well decorated and looks like a fancy salon from the 1900s. Food 4/5. They have some exotic ice cream which are must-try.But except of them, I found everything else avarage. Far form bad but definitely not extravagant. Not to mention the rest of the ice creams were full of ice rather than cream which made them taste-like-water. Price - value: 3/5 In case of confectionery, the prices are reasonable BUT in case of ice cream it depends on the size of the scoop you get. We got 2 times out of 4 a really small scoop, possibly the smallest in our life. So it depends a lot on your luck :/

Given the fame of the place for being one of the oldest in Hungary, I had a bit more hopes for the food. The cakes are OK but nothing extraordinary... Their traditional Hungarian Dobos tart has a strong taste of butter which makes you almost forget that cocoa and caramel are also other ingredients of the cake. Dobos cake is originally heavy due to the butter base cream, therefore, smaller slices should be sold, instead of a giant piece that no one can finish, mainly if it tastes like pure butter. The place itself lacks a bit of personality despite their colonial style decor. The staff is friendly enough but also nothing special.

Super. In the city center. The staff are kind. Good atmosphere. The prices are decent. For families I recommend.
