Back again after 2 years and food is as good as ever. Nice addition of Konyari wines to the selection. Whole roast Zander (Fogas) is always good, also turos palacsinta. Can’t wait for the next trip in July.

We stayed in a nearby house last year, so we had lunch here every day and returned many times this year, even if we stayed in another village now. Simple but fresh and tasty, typical Hungarian dishes at a nice price. I wish there were more places like this at Balaton! Service was wonderful last year, this year we did not like the waiter, but there is a serious shortage of waiters in Hungary, so it's not the restaurant's fault, which has been run by the same family for decades. It is situated at a small, familial, equipped beach, my personal favourite at Balaton. We will surely return here every year, no matter where we stay!

Great family run place by the beach at the end of Istvan király u. near Alsóbélatelep station. Open from early May to the end of August each year. We've been coming here for more than 20 years, and hope it keeps going for another 20. Has a few tables indoors for when it rains, but we mostly eat outside, looking at Lake Balaton. Typical Hungarian favourites available.
