We arrived to Hableany late night, hoping to get a few nice cocktails here... after the first round of drinks, which were made with a bored, super unfriendly face we decided its best to leave, the bartenders were definitely unwelcoming. the place is anyways tiny and has absolutely no fun feeling to it. very boring, zero atmosphere. drinks were ok, but overpriced.

Visited here twice on a recent trip to Budapest with my husband. Had a few casual beers on our first visit and enjoyed the relaxed and quiet atmosphere. Returned later in our trip to try the gin and we were not disappointed. The extremely knowledgable bartender was able to recommend a gin for my husband and served it with the perfect accompaniments. I had an amazing gin cocktail that was perfectly balanced and had a lovely flavour. Second round of drinks similarly impressive. Would recommend highly and could not find any evidence or rude staff or overpriced drinks as mentioned in previous reviews- our experience was exceptional and the drinks were reasonably priced given the calibre of gin we had.

We stumbled across this walking back to our hotel and I'm glad we stopped in as the bartender had a great knowledge of gin (and other spirits) and mixes a nice cocktail. We tried a couple of new gins on his recommendation and both really enjoyed them. The Monkey 47 regular and slow gins were both very tasty and I think we will look for them online when we get home! Not a cheap place to drink but certainly good quality and also a beautiful spot aesthetically.

Great selection of gins and the barman paired them up with good tonics & garnishes. If you enjoy gin then it's a must (serves other drinks too if gin not your drink tho). Nice atmosphere and good use of empty gin bottles as candle holders & soap dispensers!

A delightful little exposed brick bar with a fabulous selection of gins and other spirits and accompanying cocktails. This was a early evening midweek visit. There was only one couple in the bar so I was able to chat about gins with Gabor, the delightful manager. He knows his stuff and will guide you through the selection. Lovely atmosphere and definitely worth a visit.

Pros: Great drinks, quality service Cons: Slightly slow (but, worth the wait) This is a great little gin bar with a pleasant atmosphere. It’s right on the busy Kiraly Utca, but we snagged one of the tables inside (by the window), and had a relaxed time watching the party walk by outside. The bartender made quality drinks, and he was knowledgable and friendly. He said some of the cocktails were his own recipe, and he made some modifications to meet our needs. Bonus tip: If the menu doesn’t have what you want, just ask! He made a customized cocktail that wasn’t listed, and it was really good.

This place has just reopened, I thoroughly recommend a visit! Me and my partner (who doesn't like gin!) had six different drinks between us, made by the exceptionally knowledgeable bar man, and all were delicious. The place was empty for most of the time we were here, which means I think I need to spread the word.... Come to this bar, even if you don't love gin! (But definitely come if you do!!!)

What a surprise in the downtown! Never experienced before: 76 types of gins, 8 tonics, 26 whiskys... Simply great, one of the best places to start or close the night!
