The furnishing of the two-storey bar is modern and practical. The staff behind the counter is attentive to detail: all sandwiches are prepared with care to achieve the best possible result.

The masabaha is a good hummus pick (with the salad that also has mint, no the arabic one, the other one).

I had the most delicious shakshouka very flavoursome with aubergine and pita, super nice and the two ladies who were serving are simply the best, extremely helpful and friendly they really made the whole experience very enjoyable. If weren't leaving so soon would definitely go back to try their hummus. You won't be disappointed, enjoy... l certainly did!

It was the second visit (different year different location in Budapest) but I loved the meal as much as the first time. Hummus is as great as in Turkey, and smoked eggplant salad exceeded my expectations, as did the bread! Great food at a very good price. I am now looking forward to my dinner there today, really. Sorry, no pictures - we ate it before we could take any.

Last night we had a great time at Hummus Bar. Excellent eating experience from walking in the door and being greeted by the staff, seated and got free welcome tea. Meal was served hot and super fresh and delicious. The restaurant is clean and well organized. Orsi and David were really welcoming and with full of personality plus. Thanks a lot, we will definitely come back!

It was a fantastic experience to return the renewed Hummus bar in Alkotmány utca (street). It was very clean and the service was super kind and polite.The bar has a great and friendly atmosphere!I'm sure i'll return! First of all, the service here was exceptional: they offered us a welcoming glass of cold tea which was excellent, the food was served pretty fast and they were really friendly. The food was very good: the falafels, the mushrooms and hummus, everything was tasty!

We had pita sandwiches and loved every bite. The service was good, hummus fresh and flavorful. This was a great meal for midday and good people watching in the outside seating.

Food was good, outside seating was excellent for people watching! The service was a little quirky to say the least. Our waiter didn't speak any English and brought out the food first without any flatware. We had to resort to playing Charade for him to understand. But overall OK

That was my first time eating hummus, and it was amazing! Very positive and lovely staffs, I had a Hummus Sharwama and my boyfriend had a Hummus Falafel, both of them were excellent.

We came here for lunch and had two hummus plates, one with salad and one with chicken breast and liver. Both were really tasty and regarding the general prices in the hummus bar really recommendable. There’re actually several branches of Hummus Bar in Budapest, but after trying it I definitely don’t wonder why!

We spent great time in hummusbar. What made us enter this tiny but lovely place was Andra’s ‘ smile! He took care of us as in a 5 stars hotel. We had felafel that was great tasty and light even if enough for a quick lunch. I want to say thank you to Andra’s because smile nowadays in hospitality field is rare! Thanks a lot . We will be back !

I only discovered sabich (pitta sandwich with grilled aubergine/eggplant, boiled potato, sliced hard boiled egg and tahini) a couple of months ago and love them. This place does a great sabich sandwich for about £2.35 😄 Friendly service too!

I really like this place, because it is near to my workplace and I like drinking the welcome tea, It's nice and polite. But I don't want to go there again since I have found a hair in the middle of my food, It was disgusting. Pay attention!

Budapest has a number of places serving Vegan food but it was Easter so some of these were closed. Hummus Bar was a short walk from our hotel and we ate there on two evenings. Very pleased with the food, the service and the relaxed atmosphere.

Visited two different hummus bar locations while in Budapest and was impressed by both. Good portions at a reasonable price and very friendly and helpful servers who spoke impeccable English. Try the Shakshuka!
