Both the Kebab and shawarma are very good. The home-made ice tea is a must try! Price / quality ratio is excellent! Please not that the service charge is not yet included on the bill.

I recommend to have the lemonade of the house and hummus alone. I had it with minced meat and it was carbonised.. Tabule salad is chopped cucumber without flavour. Not the best hummus bar in Budapest.

Not just for hummus lovers, they have meals with chicken or LIVER! Lunch or dinner, quick bite or feast, you can't go wrong with this place.

Megérkeztünk, kb. 5 perc után jött ki a pincér és hozta az étlapot. Nem volt egyértelmű, hogy kiszolgálás van vagy pultnál kell rendelni (először voltam ezen a helyen). Viszont amint megkaptuk a rendelt kaját, el is felejtettem az egészet, mert nagyon nagyon finom volt. Később, fizetéskor ismét lejátszódott a pincérek lassúságából adódó kellemetlenség, pedig nem is voltunk sokan. Végezetül azért csak ajánlani tudom, hiszen az ember az ízek miatt jön ide, nem a pincérek miatt, s azok kifogástalanok voltak.

Rendszeresen járok a Hummus Bar-ba. Az ételeik alapanyaga kiváló, és a minőség állandó. Kimondottan jó választás azoknak, akik gyorsan szeretnének minőségi alapanyagokból készült ételeket fogyasztani. Tökéletes egy hétköznapi ebédre.

Két testvéremmel tértünk be ebédelni, kedves, mosolygós pincérnő fogadott minket , frissen készített isteni házi limonádéval. Shawarma hummus tálat, csirkemell szedvicset, kebab főételt rendeltünk. Az ételek eszméletlen finomak voltak, utoljára Tel-Avivban ettem ilyen finom hummust:) Biztosan visszatérünk :):)

The food was a little plain tasting, and also the chicken pita had so much kale-salad which made the bread all soggy and falling apart. Fries had been fried way too much, and not crispy at all.

We are here and at other branches while in Budapest. They are open late and the prices are good. They offer a discount for students which is nice.

Looking for some quick fresh tasty and healthy vegan lunch? Hummus bar is a great chain restaurant around Budapest that serves veggie food. They do a lunch deal for £5 including warm pitta, falafel and 2 sides (hummus/salad-not leafy/chips/couscous). Really fresh and filling, would suit everyone. Most options are vegan and clearly labelled with blue vegan tick.

Great little restaurant particularly for vegetarians, comfortable seats outside, generous portions, tasty dishes, really enjoyed shakshouka with feta. Laffa breads were delicious but so filling we had to take them home with us ( and enjoyed them for breakfast the following day). Reasonable prices, great selection of food and drink, definitely worth a visit

Called in and had classic hummus and a tomato and egg dish. All very nice, fresh and filling. Good option if you are looking some veggie friendly food whilst out and about.

I didnt like the hummus. The pita is good but the protein is too small I would recommend the tomato soup. Is really good!

The food is just average. We expected larger meet portions. The prices are fair. The service is OK as we have been served within 10-15 minutes.

Lots of interesting dishes to choose from, good sized portions and very reasonable. Possibly a better choice for lunch than dinner. Worth a visit.

Delicious falafels and hummus, quick and friendly service. Was offered free homemade ice tea to sample too. Good size portions for the price.

Wanted a simple lunch. Stumbled across this tucked away restaurant. Later on our travels round Budapest found it is part of a chain but that's not a problem. Very good value. Falafel and stuffed pittas eg chicken and salad or falafel and salad to name two were excellent. Would happily return.
