Családommal jártunk ebben a hangulatos kis étteremben. Meglepetésünkre gyerekként is volt. Hangulatos légkondicionált belső,finom házias ételek, szuper kiszolgálás. Olcsó árak. Mindenkinek csak ajánlani tudom.

Barátságos, hangulatos, jól megközelíthető hely. Ételeik finomak, nem kis adagok. Figyelmes kiszolgálás.

Excellent dishes! Nice staff! Loved the atmosphere! Our favourite is beef stew (pörkölt) with paprika.

It really had to happen to hit this place. Friendly, smiling welcome, seating and recommending the specialtiies of the house. There has certainly been no.interior designer in this place and still it has its own, genuine style. charm and touch. The dishes are of "Hungarian" size, i.e. rich and certainly not suitable for weight watchers. The offer is going along the country's popular dishes which are professionally prepared. Small offer of very good Hungarian wines. Very kind, sincere, gentle and mindful but never pushy service. Majority of guests were locals. An evening to be repeated when again in Budapest.

The restaurant is an old one that has been around for many years and survived despite all the competition. It is excellent for tasting various typical Hungarian food. The menu has lots of choices. Service was good and attentive. The quality of the food was excellent. Small tables are fine for carrying on conversations with friends and family.

Last month I been here several times, quick polite service, good food and low prices, Hungarians living nearby like it !

The hungarian cuisine they offer is realy espectacular for this price level. We've had 3 meat dishes, 2 beers and a coke. After the meal we had 2 aged plum brandies and the bill just showed us €34. The staff was friendly and even asked if everyting was allright (not usual in Budapest). The food itself was good quality and very tasty

A local small place with very reasonable prices with big potions of good food. My girlfriend and I went here twice and got stuffed for 5300 and 6000 ft. This is including half a liter of beer and a glass of wine. The only down side was the fact that they only accept cash. It's definitely a place where the majority of customers are locals which assures me that it's worth a visit.

We made Kisvigado our go to restaurant while in Budapest. Even though it is not in the tourist area, they speakEnglish and the extensive menu is also in both languages. It is a great neighbourhood pub where the locals eat. Reservations recommended on weekends.

Food was excellent. Plenty of variety on the menu. We came back a second night we enjoyed it so much.

This local restaurant is a nice place outside the tourist area but easily reachable by tram. We went there just after 6 pm and this was not too early as the locals were already busy with their meal.
The waiters did not speak English well but we could communicate with them in German and English words (not sentences).
My wife had the steak tartare as a main dish although it was mentioned among the first courses.
The dish contained 200 gr of meat so we were surprised to see this as a first course.
My wife likes steak tartare and she also loved this one, although it was prepared the hungarian style. When she ordered french fries with it, the waiter looked a bit surprised as the dish comes with bread but in Belgium we use to eat the dish with fries.
I had the gulash soup and the goulash dish with a salad and fries afterwards. This was the best gulash soup of our 5 day-stay in the city.
Note that you have to order your vegetables and potatoes separately.
We also had a bottle of nice white hungarian riesling wine.
We paid 11300 HUF for all of this so we do highly recommend this place.
